Is there a reason why bad things happen to good people? Is there even a reason why life is the way it is? I'm kind of looking maybe for some different opinions besides the Christian god answer. If you are going to give the god answer then avoid answers like because god gave us free will, because we learn lessons from bad things(We can't learn lessons from Cancer, and some things are so bad that the only lesson we learn is not to trust people) If god never promised fairness on earth then does he really deserve the credit? Should someone be praised that allows such injustice? Why is life not fair? Is there a such thing as Karma. cuz it seems like the creepy people are pretty happy. Didn't mean for this to sound like a downer conversation but isn't this one of the top 10 questions of the century? Maybe some nontraditional answers? Maybe some books or websites involving theories about this stuff?

was the mid 90's when these shirt/ onesie kind of things were in style. They snapped at the crotch (like what toddlers wear).I have this vague memory of guys pulling on my onesie flaps and asking, "What's this?".I wish it had been a blackout..Haven't drank in 11 yrs. and everyone's grateful that I'm no longer a flapper.

The only thing I can find is that it was a vote 12 for and 1(Cuba) against. With Yemen and Ecuador abstaining. A couple of highly dubious websites say China also voted against it, but I don't think that's verifiable
I'm trying to find out who were the 12 countries that voted for Resolution 687.
Also, how does the UN decide which countries get a vote?
and did Saddam ever officially accept the cease-fire?
And is there a US government site where I can read up on "Iraq Liberation Act (Public Law 105-338)"

(I know it's a longshot that anyone will be able to answer any of these, but just it's worth a shot)

There is this huge wind (almost like a tornedo) rushing towards my lane, and me along with my brother and my lil kid are in the house, i ruch to see this huge wind, wind out side my lane is so sever that it has uprooted the trees is rushing towards my lane, i cluth my kid and run into my house.

Any Dream Guru's can interpret this to me.

I hate getting my eyes examined.
I still have my original boxes that my contacts came in and it has the numbers that explain what perscription my contacts are.

Im actually being serious. think about it

1)both could be altered at any time by anyone
2)we have no proof that either is telling the truth
3)they could both be biased

for all we know. both could be full of lies or they could be made up so how is the bible anymore credible than wikipedia?

First off it is an outrigh LIE to say that MACs cannot get a virus. they are NOT immune. The hackers decided that MACs don;t have a ig enough market share to be a REAL target, so they focus on where they can do the most damage, PCs. Please stop saying that they are IMMUNE, they are not!!
What do you do when your mac can no longer run through all those video clips as fast as you want? do you upgrade? of course you do, you throw out your entire system and give MAC more money for their over priced and proprietary systems. A PC user could easily upgrade a single part, or a few parts to get the same effect.
So maybe you have a good MAC capable of runnig a recent game. My 2 year old PC can run anything currently available (except DX10) because i have been able to upgrade it.
So waht makes MAC so special? they use Intel Processors. they use a GUI similar to windows. Maybe they don;t crash as much an average, but most windows crashes are user error, something MACs don;t even allow.

Alright here's the story. I was pretty well liked and had great self confidence right. Well then one day I went to a party and got wasted. Anyways some kids there I know stripped me and video taped it. Of course it was for like 5 seconds but still. Anyways ever since, I've been kinda nervous around the people cuz its embarrassing. And I lost some self confidence as well. And really have been thinking alot. More so then before. Anyone know why this is? And I cant get the thing outta my head, but it was like back in may. Anyone have any ideas how to get my self confidence back? Because like before I'd be great with new people. I wasn't nervous or anything, I mean because I could say stuff like " it's me I can do anything". But now when I meet new people when I think I'm like "yeah I'm pretty great. but I've been stripped that one time, so I'm not that great. "

I would like to connect Line Out / Earphone to my Recording Device that only has Mic In and no Line In

Basically I just have to convert Line Out signal which is around 500mV, to Mic In which is around 2mV.

How do I do this, I just put a resistor between two connection. If so, how many do I need and how much?
