A woman is claiming she has had a child with my husband, and I want to know if she is able to list him on the birth certificate without proving he is the father. (He has admitted his affair, this was 9 months ago in fact, and I am just trying to find out if she can list him as the father without proof). it is absurd to liken the faith of theists to the faith of atheistic scientists

science is advanced by developing theories and testing those theories rigorously and repeatedly until such time that the theory provides an extremely accurate prediction of behaviour in the universe. and peer review ensures that no hoodwinking slips through the net

it is ludicrous to suggest that theistic belief is subjected to such rigorous scrutiny. on the contrary, constructive scrutiny of religious beliefs is discouraged by religious leaders

why? what do they have to lose? if theyre so sure of their beliefs, they should be welcoming all attempts to investigate their beliefs

because then they'd be shown to be right after all, wouldnt they?

i don't know if you really understand what i mean but i sort of fit into every "clique" at my school. i just "kind of" fit in with most of them but i am not best friends with any of them. i sort of hang out with the "athletes" like people from my teams (field hockey,swimming,dance) but i also really like fashion and makeup, purses stuff like that. i also like art and i am very artsy. i am vegetarian and volunteer at spca so i fit in with animal rights people if you know what i mean. i am also at the international baccalaureate program and i am in a lot of clubs so people consider me a nerd. is this normal?? to "fit in with every clique"

I live in Illinois, and have an unsecured loan with a ligitamite loan company. If the payment is more than two days late, they call me on the phone 3-5 time a day. I got mad and decided that they are the last bill that gets paid. The bill is two months late. Not only do they call everyday, but they have called my neighbor asking for me. They have recently sent me a letter that states that they are going to take me to court, and a summons will be issued soon. They want the whole amount of the loan, and all I want to do is make my damn payments. What options do I have? I do not want to file Chapter 13 or 7 Can I sue these people for harassment?

Is the precentage for higher for men not wanting children or is it higher for those that do? Because lately I have observed any guy that I become interested in, doesn't want kids. I have nothing against their view on it. But some day I would at least like to have one, but I don't want to force a guy into changing his view because of me. And I'm definitely not naive enough to believe that people will change their minds after they have found the "one". Its really nice to think so, but if someone feels strongly enough about certain things, I believe in letting them have their view and I will respect theirs if they respect mine. So open question for all to answer. A bit of insight on this would be great, thanks.

I've moved here from out of state bout 2 years ago. don't have family here except for my mom, and she's not the most popular person in the world either. everywhere I go ppl make fun of me, i'm trying to get back into college, but i don't wanna go without friends. sure college is where you go to get a social life, but if I go now (i'm 28) everyone will think i'm a loser. i've tried joining clubs, going to bars, being friendly (not outgoing) to guys at work, but somehow I just don't fit in. i joined a judo club, tried to find a bird watchers club (i know its dorky but you can't say JUST BE YOURSELF), finding others with similar interests. I was the shyest person in the world in jr high, and i've never been to a dance. hardly ever been to a party, and when i did, i just sat there. i thought moving here would be the best thing i ever did, i could start off fresh, but its so cliquish here, no one wants to let me join their clicque, because i'm not already in one. who else has gone this?

I recently had a yeast infection and before I got really harsh symptoms I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend.

He hasn't had any symptoms of a yeast infection but I'm afraid he still might have one. Is it possible to have a yeast infection and not any symptoms? he itches sometimes but it's just from shaving and what not.

We rescued a dog about a week ago. Everything was going great. We couldn't have asked for a better dog. However, my husband had poker night tonight and when one of the guys came in, our dog started barking really loud (which we have never heard) and then bit him!!! Luckily our friend was ok. What should we do about the dog? Has anyone ever had anything like this happen?
