Is the precentage for higher for men not wanting children or is it higher for those that do? Because lately I have observed any guy that I become interested in, doesn't want kids. I have nothing against their view on it. But some day I would at least like to have one, but I don't want to force a guy into changing his view because of me. And I'm definitely not naive enough to believe that people will change their minds after they have found the "one". Its really nice to think so, but if someone feels strongly enough about certain things, I believe in letting them have their view and I will respect theirs if they respect mine. So open question for all to answer. A bit of insight on this would be great, thanks.

When my husband and I dated he would tell me he never wanted kids and I always wanted 5 (yes 5) But, at the time we got married he knew I couldn't have kids and sense he didn't this would be great. Anyway about a year into marriage my husband tells me he wants kids!!! I looked at him and about died cause I was told I never would have any.. And he didn't want to adopt. I was crushed I thought we had this all worked out before we got married and My first husband left me because I couldn't have kids. We ended up adopting a boy who was 6 at the time and we are a very happy family....So I guess You just never know.

Just keep looking until you find Mr. Right who wants children. Maybe look in more places like church groups. The main purpose for getting married is to have children. Don't compromise yourself. Good luck.
