In North. California the only 1 w/ less than 2 yrs. training is an Addictions Counselor..IE Food addicts, anorexics, etc. (everything mentioned is 4-10 yrs. but u could do it if u really wanted to right?) Google Diablo Valley College and keyword Addiction Studies even if ur not in CA just 2 get an idea. Some specialize in AA or NA or OA( overeaters anonymous). You should call a local eating disorder clinic (The Suicide hotline may know of 1 or the Mental Health hotlines). Google OA and go to a local meeting. They're open and free of charge.Ask them as well. Good luck. There's a special place in heaven 4 people like u.E-mail me w/ any more info u get if u can cuz I've often thought of doing that as well.

Well I probably shouldn't be telling you this since it will be enabling you, but laxitives are a better alternative rather than throwing up. But just to try and be a good person I will tell you that there are special treatment centers for those who suffer from eating disorders. Think about it.

Why? I`m wondering why it`s such a short question.... But, in the UK at least, there is normally a multidisciplinary approach (or there is where local nhs trusts can fund them). Psychiatrist, Dietician, Counsellor / Cinical psychologist, psychiatric nurse(s) and possibly cardiologists/haematologists/other specialist doctors to deal with the varying physical complications whic can and do affect many people with eating disorders.
