We're paying cash for a house out of foreclosure. To negotiate with the bank we're going to include the house inspection report with our offer. We're hoping to get $ taken off since there is structure damage they are underestimating (bottom of back of house in the basement has a crack from top to bottom).

If we include an appraisal, would that tell us the market value as is with all the problems it has?

My nephew currently lives with me in Cali. He lived in Texas until his father (a tech-sgt in USAF) was brutally murdered. He's almost 18 and about to graduate high school. His plan: Return to Texas to stay with my daughter (his cousin) and her family once he graduates which should be very soon.. My daughter husband in 2 yrs in with the Army and due to be deployed to Qatar in a few months. After that, my daughter, her children and my nephew plan to return to Cali til her soldier returns from duty. Now the question is... What will Ft. Bliss housing require from my nephew or daughter in order for him to stay with them . He'll be 18 on Nov 1st and should be done with school by then. His military ID expires at 18, does he need a state id and who should my daughter speak with to arrange his stay on her side. Any info is appreciated. Thank You

I WISH I could so bad, it would be so comforting to me to think I wont be gone forever or that I can see my family and friends again after they are gone, but I just can't it just seems so unrealistic to me. I would love to feel that security and not fear death but I cannot pretend to believe in it nor can I be convinced. Do any of you feel this way?
