Only 1% of imported food is checked, yet some people are saying terrorist are going to attack us from the border. If terrorists wanted to strike us good, they would poison our food or put bombs in our childrens toys, seeing as so many defective toys get by quality control. The only reason people rant against "illegal" immigrants is because they have nothing to do and are themselves probably living off welfare.

I think he's doing the best he can. He is not as bad as people try to make him out to be. I think he's a lot better than the other choices we have! He has my support.

My real question is why would he pick such a pothetic dumba^s like Quail Boy (Dick) to be the vice president?

Quail shot his friend in the face. It wasn't even real hunting, they stocked the place with 1000 quail from somewhere else and put 'em in this place so he could hit 'em.
He STILL missed!!! How they were all there for him and he still missed!

My husband and I are buying a house and so it's THAT time to plan budgeting! What are some ideas for dinners that cost less than $10 for the entire meal? I am interested in anything that is NOT duck, lamb, ribs, veal or deer. I will choose my best answer based on which idea I don't already have...or which one is most original based on my above criteria. Also, any type of cuisine is acceptable as long as it doesn't have the above meats!

If that is the case as I've heard asserted tonight, and otherwise, that the God of Israel is the one and only source of moral behavior and law; why then is the evidence overwhelming that all the civilizations contemporaneous with and pre-dating to the Israelite civilization contained a moral code? If as you say that "morality comes from Judeo-Christian values" why do we have Hammurabi's Code, The Egyptian Book of the dead, and evidence of moral codes in ancient Persia, Africa in the form of the Neubians, and Mesoamerica dating back as far as 1000 BCE (or B.C. for you that prefer)? Why were all these people able to figure out that one shouldn't rape, steal and murder without the help of the God of Israel, and yet you assert that Atheists have no basis for morality because it can only come from God?

Also, were the Israelites wandering the desert with Moses, prior to recieving God's law, under the impression that murder was OK?

I know this is going to be one of those questions everyone has to report but what ever.

Seriously though. Has anyone ever met a woman that was well grounded? Never cried, never went onto some unnecessary emotional tangent, never thought that everyone was plotting against her? Has anyone ever figured out what is going on there?

And no one dare deny that 99.999% of women do this ****. It may not be a politically correct question but it is true.

I have a community tropical freshwater aquarium. My water hardness has increased and the GH and KH are now just above normal limits. The pH has also risen quite dramatically. I have added a pH balance chemical to reduce the alkaline but from what I understand the two issues are related. My testing kit tells me to add water from a reverse osmotion tank but I don't have one or know much about setting one up. Do you have any suggestions? (Regualr water changes are not helping in this case)

I have a few questions, I just want to see how people feel.... please answer all of them and in the correct order.

1. How do you feel about civilians owning firearms, what should be illegal and what should be allowed?

2. Do you or someone that lives in your home own a rifle of a major caliber i.e. anything except .22 caliber.

3. Do you or someone in your home own a handgun of a major caliber (Still, other than .22)

4. If guns were being illegally confiscated (as in New Orleans after Katrina) would you hand over your guns peacefully?

5. If a law had been passed outlawing all guns would you give up your guns peacefully?

my roomy said the cops might be after him and he wanted to leave the country. so i hatched a plan ,rent a uhaul for a two day intown move i gave them a 100 dollar cash deposit on top of the 19 dollar a day fee anyways after the 2day ride (missouri to brownsville texas) we made it to the bus station parked it right in front of the station and bought our ticket to cross the border the bus got stopped on the bridge and we got searched and checked out by homeland security and my roomys warrent showed up and he got detained the feds asked me how was i planning to get the uhaul back if i was in mexico i told them that uhaul would eventually find it and they said bullsh** since it was not reported stolen yet they made my drive it back to missouri.so the next day i called uhaul on the way back and they said there was a apb on the truck in missouri.i made up a story that i got really ill and could not drive uhaul bought the lie and called off the apb.the uhaul broke down 7 miles from the store

I really want to add a small sheer cap sleeve to my strapless gown. My question is, do I attempt to buy the sleeve myself and just have the seamstress sew it on, or ask her to make one for me? Is that beyond her scope? Do you think she would charge me an arm and a leg? (She is a regular seamstress, not in a bridal salon).

Also, I have a $6,000 couture gown....do you think I would be butchering the look?
