I have a few questions, I just want to see how people feel.... please answer all of them and in the correct order.
1. How do you feel about civilians owning firearms, what should be illegal and what should be allowed?
2. Do you or someone that lives in your home own a rifle of a major caliber i.e. anything except .22 caliber.
3. Do you or someone in your home own a handgun of a major caliber (Still, other than .22)
4. If guns were being illegally confiscated (as in New Orleans after Katrina) would you hand over your guns peacefully?
5. If a law had been passed outlawing all guns would you give up your guns peacefully?
I appreciate your time.

In addition to the first question, if you believe citizens should have grenades, RPG's, battle tanks etc. anything like that even if you think people should be allowed to own atom bombs, please let me know.

If you don't want to say if you have guns or don't want to tell how many or what type I understand. I don't give much info on my guns either online for the very reason that they may one day come for them.... just say as much as you feel comfortable with sharing.

Also, if you use the phrase "automatic" please specify semi-automatic or fully automatic, technically both qualify as "automatic weapons".

1. How do you feel about civilians owning firearms, what should be illegal and what should be allowed? Doesn't bother me - but semi automatics and worse should not be owned in my opinion.
2. Do you or someone that lives in your home own a rifle of a major caliber i.e. anything except .22 caliber. We have no weapons.
3. Do you or someone in your home own a handgun of a major caliber (Still, other than .22) No weapons here.
4. If guns were being illegally confiscated (as in New Orleans after Katrina) would you hand over your guns peacefully? That's hard to say. On one hand, I'd want to be able to protect my home and family, however it's too difficult to say what you'd do in that type of situation.
5. If a law had been passed outlawing all guns would you give up your guns peacefully? Again, it would depend. I do plan on owning a weapon one day - however we have 4 boys at home - and that isn't a priority right now. There was an FBI agent who was going to teach me to shoot - but before we could get a time he died....haven't tried to learn since.

I'm assuming this is for the US.
1. Constitutional right. If someone wants to own weapons, then they need to be trained in the proper handling and storage. Some states have instituted a "Hunters Safety" course that is required before obtaining a hunting license, but not before owning a weapon. Still, my opinion is if you want one, get one.
2. Yes
3. Yes
4. No
5. No.
