When I purchased a sound card (the cheapest one in the store) for my old 486 a dozen years ago, it could simultaneously playback while recording and record multiple input and the same time. That was very good for mixing music. But the 5 computers I purchased since, none of them can do any of that. Recording is limited to 1 line of input at a time and it can't record what the computer is playing. Is it because the better kinds of sound cards just went high end or is it some kind of music biz copyright conspiracy with hardware companies?

my best friend's best friend has always been a ***** to me. she is so snobby and i try so hard to be nice to her because she is afterall my best friends best friend but today at school she told me "why are you talking to me?" and gave me this disgusted look and walked on.

i told my best friend about it and she laughed and changed the subject. i made some new friends with the new girls at school. should i just give up on trying to get through to my best friend. ive tried to hard to tell her how i feel. also, she is sooo immature and cant be serious when i need her to be. the new girls and i really hit it off and id like to be friends with them.

should i just go be friends with them or keep on trying to get through to my friend about how her friend hurts me.

ok so the deal is that on my birth certificate
my name [jessica]
is spelled as yessica.
i can totally understand how someone can
mess up a j with a y
especially since my momma has some sloopy
writing.

but
on my social
school information.
EVERYTHING
my name is spelled as
jessica.


now for the id i think that would
be a problem since they would probably
want to put how its written on the
birth certificate.

In my French class, we all have to pick something to teach the class how to do. we have to explain it in french, and it has to get everyone in the class involved. no cooking, b/c we dont have an oven...

i dont play any sports and dont plan on learning them or teaching them, so thats out. i thought about maybe teaching them "The Hustle" dance, but i dunno...what are some good ideas?

You say that Jesus (peace be upon him) is God and he died for your sins, but why oh why would God wanna kill himself?? God can forgive you for you sins WITHOUT having to die.

I have lots of jewelry, I purchased over the years, (good stuff) I also made a lot myself, (semi-precious stones)
I was going to open up a store with some antiques, fine florals, and other creations of mine, however someone discouraged me from doing it (because of the economy) and now I've been stuck with all these things for more than two years, I urgently need to sell them, not just get rid of them, they are expensive, (have used ebay and hasn't worked, I really hate ebay)

Other than yard sales does anyone have any good ideas on how I can sell them, some framed art most of it ranges btwn $500 to over $ 1000 dls., I can't sell it at fleemarkets. Please help, I've been to some stores looking into consignments, but people don't take them.
