isn't "nonbeliever" and "believe in evolution" a contradiction?

believers...please state why you think this.
nonbelievers...please state your thoughts on evolution.

i think that evolution is a very plausable theory and it makes good sense, but i don't know or believe that evolution happened. it just makes sense. go to the zoo and look at the orangutans.

my mom's gonna let me and my sis get a puppy, but we're stuck on what breed to get?
we have a big 2 story house with a big backyard.
we live in the suburbs.
and basically, there's plenty of room for a dog to run around and live.
we're at home most of the time.
we have a parakeet, turtle, and fishes
the ages of the family are 40, 36, 13, 9
um, i hope those help.
so, from your experience can you give me the pros and cons of each breed, and which breed you recommend? thank you.

My boyfriend had some friends over and someone kicked the door when it was locked, so the side where the doorknob is all busted. I heard wood putty is best for fixing holes in the doors but that would be hard to do since the hole where the doorknob goes through is all busted as well. What would be the best way to fix it without buying a whole new door? Thanks for the help!

I'm not really in the mood to fry my mobo, so what is the straight up answer from someone that actually knows? On one point, some say take out the battery before you clear the BIOS with a jumper because you don't want to send a charge down the pins. On a second point, some say that taking out the battery will not allow ANY charge to even affect the volatile memory in the BIOS.

Anyone know the real answer? This should be a fun answer session... DON'T GUESS!
