The vet thought it was an allergy to fleas, so they put her on Frontline Medication. Then they said she may need vitamins, so ive been giving her daily capsules, and still nothing, she is starting to get little bald spots, and is losing an unbearable amount of fur. What gives? anyone have a similar situation with Frenchies? (btw, i am taking her to the vet today, i just wanted to know if anyone had a similar situation)

We usually have a birthday party every year for my son who just turned 9, it is usually a theme and we get all the themed supplies($80), I make goody bags($10 each) for all the children and we invite our family and their sibblings total 25 people, 12 adults. We have a pinic at the park ($30.00 permit fee) unfortunately I have everything to do my husband does not do much and spend several hundred by the time we are done. I love my son but at what point do we do the make a special dinner and have a cake with just our family, me, my husband and my son and his brother instead of the party

A cop stops a car for traveling faster than the posted speed limit. He asks the man his name.

"Fred," he replies.

"Fred what?" the officer asks.

"Just Fred," the man responds.

The officer is in a good mood, doesn't smell alcohol, and thinks he might just give the fellow a break and write him out a warning instead of a ticket. So the officer then presses him for the last name. The man tells him that he used to have a last name but lost it. The officer thinks that he has a nut case on his hands but plays along with it.

"Tell me, Fred, how did you lose your last name?"

The man replies, "It's a long story, so stay with me."

"I was born Fred Dingaling. I know -- a funny last name. The kids used to tease me all the time. So I stayed to myself, studied hard, and got good grades. When I got older I realized that I wanted to be a doctor. I went th rough college, medical school, internship, residency, and finally got my degree, so I was Fred Dingaling, MD.

"After a while I got bored being a doctor, so I decided togo back to school. Dentistry was my dream! Got all the way through school, got my degree, so then I was Fred Dingaling, MD, DDS.

"Got bored doing dentistry, so I started fooling around with my assistant and she gave me VD. So now I was Fred Dingaling, MD, DDS, with VD. Well, the ADA found out about the VD, so they took away my DDS. Then I was Fred Dingaling, MD with VD. Then the AMA found out about the ADA taking away my DDS because of the VD, so they took away my MD leaving me as Fred Dingaling with VD. Then the VD took away my Dingaling, so now I'm just Fred."

The officer walked away in tears, laughing.

Hi,
I suffer from anxiety attacks and am taking 50 mg Luvox daily for anxiety. How do i know when the medicine is working? So far ive been taking it for 8 days. Is there some sort of feeling im supposed to get? I dont know what to look for to know that its working. I had a panic attack two days ago so i know its not working yet. Is it supposed to be a happy sensation or what?

I don't know much of anything about the faith of Jehovah's Witnesses so I can't come to a clear sense of what is going on here. One day at work I noticed my coworker was "different". It wasn't a different behavior, or altered body language, it was something else that I picked up on. I didn't quite understand it myself so I figured "oh, intuition". So, I asked him if he was ok. He turned to me and looked at me like I had caught him doing something he wasn't supposed to and answered, "yeah why?" I said out of concern, "oh you just seem different I wanted to make sure you were alright". He gathered up his things and on his way out the door he said "I don't LIKE it when people know me like that". Not trying to sound dumb but is there maybe something in his teaching that says that a persons intuition is bad? It kind of freaked me out because he got so freaked out about it. This has happened with other people and they took it quite well and actually confided in me with their "issue".

We have a one-year-old who is obsessed with fetching! We throw coins, paper balls, paint brushes, pencils, you name it, and he will bring it back and "cry" until we throw the object again; this could go on for hours if we allowed it. I'm also starting to be concerned that he is never going to willingly drink from his dish again-- he loves water from the bathroom faucet and cries until he gets to drink. Will he ever chill out?Anyone else have similar issues or does our cat need some psychological help?
