Everytime I watch a movie, my DVD player skips in places on all movies. I have used a disk cleaner, but it didn't do any good. Do I need to buy a new DVD player?

ok about two wks ago I had a girl come up to me and tell me alot of horriable things he denies it and she swears to it I have a torn heart what to do who to believe and what to do i have been married six yrs and have 2 kids and I am only 21. I just cant seem to shake it off like before what should I do I dont want to have any regrets I am so confused please help me figure it out. As of right now I am trying to hold on to my marriage. But I cant trust him anymore. Should I still be holding on should I still be fighting for something I think he only wants out of convience. If he really loved us he wouldnt have done this right he wouldnt have risked it all. PLEASE HELP I AM CONFUSED!!!!!!

I'm stuck with a neurotic brother-in-law that is hard to avoid because he still lives at home and I love visiting my in-laws. This guy is 22, smokes pot, drinks heavily, was on cocaine a while, has a filthy room, doesn't shower, and is also on anti-depressants.

At Christmas he kept us up all night blaring music, he laughed at my engagement diamond, and most recently after I joked that his cat was gay (it was trying to mount their other male cat) he got furious and said "Stop it, I know what you're trying to do and it won't work. You're trying to get to me through my brother and I don't like it." Then he walked away. WTF ???

Since then he's only spoken to me once. We were all having dinner and talking about karma. I said my opinion and he replied "Well I dont really care what you think."

He's extremely insulting, no social conscience, doesn't appear to respect women and as violence goes, seems to be a ticking bomb. May get kicked out soon, a real psychopath.

We know there is on the order of 10^21 stars in our universe. Many people say "since there are so many stars, it's naive to say that Earth is the only 'special' one". For starters, it is true that we know very little on this matter. How can people assume that there MUST be life elsewhere when we don't know the parameters for having life in the first place. Given that there are so many stars, it's very viable to say that most of those 10^21 stars can't house life at all. We don't know what major influences have to come into play. Given that we know so little of either path, why do people base their beliefs when neither side--pro or anti--has any idea what pieces all have to amalgamate to create life, or for that matter, intelligent life?

I had a judgement from a credit card and filed bankruptcy 2 years later. The bankruptcy included the account and stated there was a judgement as well, yet 7 years since having my bankruptcy discharged this judgement is still showing up on my credit. Everytime I try to purchase anything, I have to fax my bankruptcy paperwork showing this was included. But now that I am trying to refinance a morgage on my house, they may not be able to do it because of this judgement. I am faxing (yet again) a copy of the final paperwork, but I wonder if the judgement is infact still there. I thought that if they required us to pay it would have to be paid prior to them discharging our bankruptcy and since no one said we had to pay them I just assumed it was included.

Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths, who explained each of their beliefs.

I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say. The Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video.

After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers.

When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Imam and asked: "Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a
holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world and, that by killing an infidel, (which is a command to all Muslims) they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?"

There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he replied, "Non-believers! "

I responded, "So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can have a place in heaven. Is that correct?"

The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of "a little boy who had just been caught with his hand in the cookie jar."

He sheepishly replied, "Yes."

I then stated, "Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr. Stanley ordering all Protestants to do the same in order to guarantee them a place
in heaven!"

The Imam was speechless!

I continued, "I also have problem with being your 'friend' when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me! Let me ask you a question. Would you rather have your Allah, who tells you to kill me in order for you to go to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to heaven and He wants you to be there with me?"

You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame. Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the 'Diversification' training seminar were Not happy with Rick's way of dealing with the Islamic Imam and exposing the truth about the Muslims' beliefs.

In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.S. To elect the President! I think everyone in the U.S . should be required to read this, but with the Liberal justice system, liberal media and the ACLU,
there is no way this will be widely publicized.

this is the second time i have been hospitalized this pregnancy, im 35 weeks today, the first time i was hospitalized was a little over 3 weeks ago for 4 days due to high bp. i also have pregnancy dietbetes(bad spelling) which is now beening controlled with insulin. butis still high some times. this time beening put in the hospital was due to my bp also. but it is looking better they are only high like once or twice a day but still like 145/91. i have had a head ache for the past 4 days nothing takes it away. perkisets help some what. i have a pain about a 3 inches under my right boob. now when i stand up i get shooting pains inside my v. and pains and lots of pressure in my low abdmon. my town hospital sent me to another town with a better hospital. im always in pain completely uncomforble and stressed that i am so far from my boyfriend and kids. can't they induce me to help me out my missary. and how can i go about trying to convice my doc???
