I Have No Need To Marry. "I Me Wed" Sounds Great?

Question

I just watched that movie where a pretty girl that is confident and successful weds herself, but ugh she finds a man. Ugh..

I would like to wed myself.

Heck there's heter, gay, and how about single marriages?
Your thoughts?

I might add they are a very beautiful cute and nice couple, but contradiction is indicated here in movie.

Marriage is joining 2 people in a legally binding way...there is no way anyone can marry themselves--unless they have a split personality, I guess!

I think the idea is absurd, personally. And, I don't think anyone "needs" to marry--I think people marry by choice-they want to share their lives with another person.

That's taking narciccism a little far. But if you must do it, have a quiet ceremony and make sure you consult yourself on the vows. Take a couple of pictures of you in them and burn them together and pronounce yourself "You".

I've heard of this, but I really don't see the point. Unless you just enjoy spending a lot of money, I say if you don't want t get married then don't.

i watched that movie too!! i didnt like how she found a guy at the end either... pretty much contradicts the rest of the movie... i think it's a pretty good idea, i would definetely do it!

i love that movie it sounds cool to marry your self but it really isnt a reall marige its like a.... well i dont know what its called but what ever u want is ur choise but really good idea

If you married yourself and found someone else, you'd be cheating on yourself. So you may as well "live in sin" with yourself. :-)

to me...only my opinion...that sounds really dumb. You wouldnt be wedding TO anyone.
