Trial certificates for contact lenses are simply a marketing strategy to get you to buy THEIR brand. You don't really need a certificate at all. ALL optometrists give you a trial pair. It's included. You still have to get the eye exam regardless.

Before anyone shoots me a thumbs down, please call your eye doctor's office and ask.

It means the certificate is only good if you bring it to the doctor's office. In other words, you can't use it to get a trial pair through the mail.

Not sure but it probably means they'll give you a pair of disposable ones that you can wear once or twice to try them out.
