Yesterday, I got the second notice for Selective Service System registration, which said
"Refusal to register is a Federal crime punishable by a fine of up to $250,000 and up to 5 years imprisonment, or both........If we do not hear from you with in 10 days, we have no choice but to send your name to the Department of Justice"
Did I get freaked out? Heck Yeah! That's why I rushed out to the post office with bunch of copied documents and sent them. What I want to ask is, would I really go to jail or pay $25000 if they don't get informed within 10 days? Is there anyone around you who actually got into jail for not with the SSS?

I just finished a nice big meal of theirs and I feel horrible. Is it the chemicals in the food or is it the guilt of eating something not good for you? Gosh, I feel really bad. But it tastes sooo good.

This has been bugging me--in Calfornia we are required by state law to have auto insurance and we have to purchase it from private companies.
Since the state requires this I think we should be able to deduct the amount of the premiums from our taxable income on our state tax returns.
Does this make sense to anyone else? Serious answers only please--

I asked a question about abortion in which I raised the issue of one-night-stands. Then most of the answerers gave very ignorant responses saying like "do you have any morals at all? How can you talk about one-night-stands" and like "wait - this question is so disturbing on all proportions! How can you mention one-night-stands, they are wrong and immoral and deadly"

What are these people trying to tell me? Don't they realize that lots of people do have one-night-stands & casual sex without any issues or problems - so atleast can't the answerers give a decent response saying like "I personally thing one-night-stands are wrong" or like "people do it, but I think it is very immoral"?

Before trying to educate me saying that one-night-stands are immoral and deadly, why don't they do some research themselves before passing comments out of their ***es?

'The oldest people in the world'... can't remember whether it was on channel 4 or STV (UK). Anyway the oldest woman on the programme was 114. I was totally shocked. There was another person.. a man who was 100.. who still works a couple of hours a day then strolls down to the pub for his pint of guiness. Hes smoked and drunk for most of his days.. who says lifestyle shortens our life expectancy eh? I was amazed! Anyone else see it?

ok well my question is do you have to be 18 or 21 to be considered a guardian in a movie theater? i am 23 by the way but i forgot my ID yesterday and me and my bf (who is 19) wanted to watch a rated R movie but they didn't let us in because they said they needed to see both of our ID's and then we said that he's over 18 but then they told us that he needs to be 21. is this correct? ok thanks

The lady left me a message and said to call back at my earliest convenience, but the office is now closed. The only reason I can think of for this is because I take Lexapro, Xanax, and Hydrocodone - all of which I have prescriptions for. I don't want to lose this job and I know I'll be worrying about this all day/night. Since the lab contacted me directly, is it likely that they just want to verify the prescriptions?

I know someone has asked this before, but I didn't like any of the answers I saw. I would like to know at what point each movie belongs in the chronological timeline of Detective Conan. Does movie 1 come after episode 24? Does movie 5 come after episode 200? I don't want to be told the order doesn't matter, and I know I should watch them in chronological order, I just can't seem to find what that order is. Thanks for your help!

I want to shop for the best (lowest) rate. My credit score is 800+ but I am told I have to allow my credit to be "run" in order to "quote" most rates. Does running credit lower a credit score, or is this subjective and based on interpretation?
