The lady left me a message and said to call back at my earliest convenience, but the office is now closed. The only reason I can think of for this is because I take Lexapro, Xanax, and Hydrocodone - all of which I have prescriptions for. I don't want to lose this job and I know I'll be worrying about this all day/night. Since the lab contacted me directly, is it likely that they just want to verify the prescriptions?

Perhaps they just need the name of the physician who prescribed the meds to verify the script. Don't worry unless you have something to worry about!

Yes, I'm sure any of those 3 prescriptions is going to show in your blood work.
Once you let them know, what it's from, they will let the employer know.
Hopefully, they only let the employer know that you passed the test.
When you call them tomorrow, ask them what all they inform the employer about.
Do they have to let them know the drugs that you are on, or do they just let them know you passed the drug test?
Good luck

my son is on some prescription drugs for depression and he took a blood test for his job. the labs can tell by the levels in your blood if its prescribed or abusing a drug. if they have any questions they will call. thats probably all it is, stop worrying you will be fine ,...as long as its prescribed medication.

I would say there are going to question you and you probably will have to show the prescriptions it shouldn't effect your job as long is its not a physical labor job... they might question your ability if on pain killers.
