My girlfriend is disable and got upset and threw a bowl of carrots on the floor. The cops came and put her in jail for dom / vol ! She can't read and hardly knows what's going on in life. From the miss treament of her family keeping her locked up for years! She has now been locked up for 26 days. I have put in all the paper work and talked the state att. and the p/d's. Yet they all say the judge will not let her out! How can this happen is there a law that "a person can not throw food in there home!" they have now put a no contact order on me. Yet I am the only person that understands what she is trying to say since she uses no nouns in her voc. What can i do about these laws that are not right! she has done nothing wrong! And who knows what is going though her mine! At this point...

I live in hot and sweltering Central Florida. I've got a six year old daughter,and I have many health problems,one of which is a heart condition and also asthma. I can't be outside when it's 110 degrees outside,but I know this is unfair to my daughter. I do take her out early in the morning,and late in the evening,but it's still in the mid 80's. Does anyone have tips for fun things to do inside? I don't have a pool,we do have a kiddie pool,but it's proving too much for me to clean and set up each weekend. Thanks

I'm a Locum Tenens employee working in California while maintaining my tax home in Arizona. I imagine I file non-resident CA income taxes, but do I also have to file AZ state taxes? Doesn't seem fair if I have to pay twice!

I have school starting on monday and we received a packet for summer studying if we felt neccessary. Only problem is, I forgot a lot of the stuff I learned in Geometry and Algebra 2. Here are some sample problems I need to learn how to do...

Solve the following for x:

1.) -17/8x - 4/3 = 1

2.) 51/2x - 23/3x = 6



Solve each system of equations for x and y:

1.) { 4x-3y = -6
{ x+2y = -7

2.) { 19=5x+2y
{ 1=3x-4y


Compute the products:

1.) (3x² - 2a²)²

2.) [(a+b)-4] [(a+b)+4]


Factor the following:

1.) ab-bc+a²-ac

2.) 3x² - 22x - 16



Those are just some random problems I'm having trouble with.

This is not homework, it is only a summer study packet that should get me ready for class on monday.

Please don't misconstrue this as defending racism. On the contrary. I deplore racism. That is the entire reason I'm questioning this.

If a person hates police officers, and kills a police officer, it's a crime.

If a person hates black people, and kills a black police officer, it's a hate crime with a tougher penalty.

Both are crimes of hate, and in both cases, a person is murdered. Why is one given a harsher sentence than the other?

If I hate taxes and I go into the tax collectors office and murder someone, is this not a hate crime? If I hate my mother in law and I murder her, is this not a hate crime? If I hate my college professor and murder him, is this not a hate crime?

The motivation for a crime should only matter if the incident was accidental or deliberate. The precise motivation, be it racism, sexism, nationalism, or religious hatred, should NOT matter. Racists are cut from the same cloth as any other hate group.

I'm sick of airport officals going through my hand luggage every time i fly.In fact,i haven't been abroad in over a year now because of this.I do realise this is for everyone's safety but airports need to improve technology.I normally go abroad every few months.There is no logic behind these rules.It is really putting me off from flying and hope airlines realise the incovenience it causes to passengers.

I ordered a camera from Tiger Direct and canceled it the next day. Three weeks later they sent me an email saying they shipped it to me anyway. They charged my credit card for it and I still have not received the package. They insist that it's coming but I don't think they sent it at all. How do I file a complaint against them?

Ok, well I met this amazing guy, we have like a million things in common and we talk on the phone almost every night at least 3 or more hours...and we talk on the computer everyday (we send messages then we talk about stuff on the phone at night) problem is he lives in California, and I live in North Carolina...we had this whole plan that the summer when he was 18, he would move down here a year before college and stay with me, but he turns 18 next year, but his birthday is after summer, so It would pretty much be 2 and half or more years before we could be together, we both want to be but there are fears of what if we meet other people? He said he wants to visit me even if it is as friends, but he said he would make me fall back into love with him, when we were friends because we just really have strong feelings for each other. And even if we haven't met in person, we still know everything about one another. What do we do!? lol =]

I am fed up of buying toasters which either burn one side and not the other, or pack in totally, or like the most recent one burn the toast and melt themselves (fire narrowly avoided!)
I would prefere a 4 slice which toasts evenly and will not self combust!
