I attend a non-denominational Christian church. My step sister, who attends the same church, does not lead a life that indicates any sort of moral standards or any sort of comittment to Christ. Yet she is getting baptised today, for the sole purpose of pleasing her dad. My faith is very important to me, as is the concept of baptism; I have no desire whatsoever to be there when it happens. I realize I don't have any right to judge, but I just don't want to be there. My family, however, would like me to come. Am I wrong? Should I go?

Is it really true that time dilation would significantly affect human age at high speeds. Or is it more likely that since because of the relative frame of time...say that 10 years passes on earth relative to 1 year on an outgoing space ship....that while people on earth will age 10 years, and people on the spacecraft will age 1 year based on their clocks.. However in reality 1 year is equivalent to 10 years. So looks can be deceiving. Or will people actually physically age?

I came back from work at about 1PM to pick up something from our house and I had to go back to work at 2PM. During this time there came 2 little cute dogs and they walked into our back garden. I observed them but thought, why not, our guinea pigs are safe in their enclosure. When the whole family came back at 8PM my husband wanted to feed the animals and found 15 of them killed and only 2 of them survived. They jumped over the fence.
They were not hungry, they just were up for a kill. Why is it that dogs do that? Are all dogs like that? In nature most likely animals kill if they are hungry and not just for fun.
Can you look at such a happening from a philosophical point of view?

The roof of my expansion on my house is almost two years old.
Can it support my weight (179 lbs.)? I like to just go out there and lay on the roof and chill. The roof is almost perfectly flat with a "slight" slant.

How do airlines get away with over-selling flights?
As I understand it they do it because they dont want to lose money from people not turning up. Fine, I can see their point of view. But why dont they just not give refunds to those that do not turn up.
They should leave home in plenty of time to get there.
How can they justify leaving people stranded when they reasonably expected that because they have a ticket they would get on the flight?

I am dating a guy in his late 30s and I'm early 20s, we get on great, but we seem to be having a few text message arguments lately, where I say something he doesn't like, eg yesterday we were going to see each other but as I wouldn't let him come to the house as I hadn't tidied up before my parents came home, he decided he'd lost the mood and didn't want to see me as I'd made him feel hurt and 'unspecial' as though I didn't want him there!
I tried explaining but then he said he needed some time and now he's not been in touch, he's done this before, but he does it a lot, and it's always over something small and pathetic and I ALWAYS have to apologise and be all nice! Then he'll get in touch again, but it's so annoying, why can't he just accept my apology and clear the air? Do all men sulk like this? Any thoughts would be appreciated to help me understand and not be the big bad wolf he makes me feel!!!

I have two in two tanks. One is "large flat" the other is "large tall".

Im not sure what the education system is like in the US but im judging that its poor because the colour of our skin is determined by the sun via evolution over many years. Basically, black people who live in the colder parts of the US will eventually over many years, turn white as determined by evolution, and white people vice versa who live in hot climates.
