The roof of my expansion on my house is almost two years old.
Can it support my weight (179 lbs.)? I like to just go out there and lay on the roof and chill. The roof is almost perfectly flat with a "slight" slant.

the roof will not cave in on me when i lay on it will it!? ***knocks on wood***

It certainly should be able to support that much weight if it,s built to required construction standards.

If it doesn't then I wouldn't hire those guys again. lol

I'm sure it will. The problems usually arise after some years and the wood decays or rots. then it will give way. For the most part, you are good for 20 or more years. And even after that, just look for soft spots in the roof when you walk on it. If you see it sag when you step on it. then I would start being somewhat concerned. good luck and enjoy.

Of Course. Yes, it would support your wight. If it would not, then the roof is a cheap junking roof made out of rotten word. Furthermore, if it was not able to hold 200lbs, then your house is about ready to collapse.

It supported the guys who put it up there, so it should support one person just fine.
