here are the specifics: it sat in a field for 15 years (or so the owner says); it has surface rust on almost all of it - the rust is solid, though (my pocket knife didn't plunge into the metal as i knocked it on different areas); it is white; has what owner says is a 393 (probably stock); interior has to be TOTALLY redone (from carpet & headliner to dash, gear shifter (his & hers)), guages, seats - everything; body is fairly straight; owner says that the engine turns over; didn't read odometer and it has two flat tires.

What would a person throw into rebuilding this car? Would you start from the ground and go up? Are parts easy to find for antique GTOs?

I hardly think he'll get $10k; I looked on eBay and found a running, fully operable 67 GTO for around $6k (nothing fancy).

Thanks for any tips/advice.

I think the responsible thing to do is have an abortion.

Adoption is not the way to go. There are already literally millions of orphans on planet earth who live in miserable conditions and don't have families. Let's take care of the orphans that already exist instead of bringing more unwanted children into this world.

Also, adoption is not an easy thing. I sure as hell would NEVER give up my own baby regardless if it were wanted or unwanted. Even if it were unwanted, i wouldn't waste 9 months of my life going through physical and emotional discomfort just so i can give my baby away. Of course I would love my child once it were born and once i held it and saw it. So adoption is definitely not something that can be debated.

So let's say that somebody gets pregnant and DOES keep the unwanted baby and raises it but that person is too busy balancing her multiple minimum wage jobs and neglects the child. The child is not receiving enough love, support, education, food, etc.

I live in San Diego, CA and I sell cell phones. Sometimes I come across tweakers and I have been threatened before. What can I use to protect myself and to what extent. Can I keep a bat under the table, a big can of mace or what? I want to make sure I can neutralize the situation before the cops come. And this a**hole is not going to get away from me if he attempts to assault me.

Personally, it would seem to me to be appropriate that we give "the rich" a hearty "Hip, hip, hooray!" & a "Thank you very much, sirs & madams, for paying WAY more than your fair share so that I don't have to!" For you fairness police, that is what I would call fair treatment of "the rich" - instead of the lack of gratitude you evince towards your betters (i.e., those paying your taxes for you).

Oh, & for those of you too lazy to look at the data let me hep ya out: the bottom 50% of tax returns paid 3.3% of Federal income taxes. Whattaya fairness police have to say about that one?!?

Lastly, if anyone goes anywhere near "That's a lie!", "This can't possibly be true!", "You don't really believe that, do you?", or any other nonsense that shows that you not only are not open to the truth, you're too lazy to go to the link & get it, YOU WILL BE REPORTED!

That last comment always draws an idiot or two; they'll be reported, too.

Ive had X-rays done and the Chiro guy thinks that I need a lot of work done and my doctor (also radiologist) had a look at them and suggests that I should focus on exercise instead to strengthen the supporting muscles. My back is sore at times and apparently is in "stage 2" degeneration, but the idea of someone "adjusting" my spine is not appealing and some people have told me about others ending up in wheelchairs! What is your personal experience?

Whenever we make date night meals, we always eat the same things. Steak and shrimp, ribs, or chicken... We are looking for something different. We were thinking something with lobster but isn't too costly. Tomorrow is our anniversary, and we want to have a nice meal. However, we just had our third baby a week ago and we are on a tight budget. Please, somebody give me some ideas of some romantic meals we can cook together?

It is an Acura 2.5 TL with 173,000 miles. Oil is clean when checked, engine looks brand new. It is missin its keyless entry. Tires have good wear left. Can an Acura handle that many miles? It is only $2500 but that is how much a new transmission and a new engine would cost if it went on me. I don't know if I can trust an Acura with that many miles.
