None of the scenarios you have listed have anything to do with each other. The most important factor in a home direction is how you live in the home. Most homes live in the back with the kitchen, breakfast and great room. I would rather have sun moving across the back of the house with the back where your deck will be in shade toward the end of the day so it is comfortable to use. It's also important so you don't heat your house with pounding sun coming in those windows. Always choose your house setting with a compass. Make it work for you not against you.
