yes a splinter can kill you possibly but the chances are very very very slim of it getting into your bloodstream and getting to your heart and killing you softly....it would probably find it's way out your butt or something....T-hee

depends on the size of the splinter. Log size ones can kill you. Otherwise, infection can inter the blood stream, but first, it will create an external infection, with pus under the splinter, which will help you to push the splinter out.

You could catch a flesh-eating bacteria through the wound that the splinter made...
Really, I was just talking to someone today...I haven't seen her in about six months, she was in the hospital fighting a flesh-eating bacteria. She lost most of her right leg from ankle to knee...
