i was wondering if food could be a factor in my cats UTI. i have two cats and one of them has a bladder infection and im noticing the other one may have one as well. is it possable that the food i feed them could be a culperate?

I tried to grow some catnip but so far nothing is sprouting up after 12 days. I dug into one of the plastic pods and found none of the seeds in the soil have sprouted. I have given them plenty of water and I have used regular potting soil mix.

I want to try again. Am I using the wrong soil? Any advice is appreciated----my 2 cool cats will appreciate it too. The catnip is for them.

I have asked this questions months ago, but I am still having the same problem. I'm 15, and I just have the hardest time falling asleep. I will go to bed and it takes me hours to fall asleep. I am really worried for when school starts because I have such a tight schedule and will be going to bed later than I want to. I have to wake up at 5:30 everyday, and after school I have sports and things that take me to 9:00pm to start homework for 3 honors classes. I also have to shower and by the time I can go to bed it will be around 11:00 or 12:00, and I still have to fall asleep which is like impossible. By the time I actually fall asleep will be around 1:00 or 2:00, then wake up at 5:30. I get exercise, I am in 2 sports. I don't know why I can't sleep. I also don't drink pop or anything to keep me up. I have had this problem for as long as I can remember, just recently it is a problem.

Any ideas?

I am going to hide a nice cd and changer in a console in the used Jeep I just bought. It has a factory installed am/fm tape deck. A friend said that if I was going to go through the trouble of hiding the cd player I should find a factory am/fm radio to put in the dash. But I really don't think that anyone would steal a 13 year old am/fm factory tape deck would they? I mean who uses tapes anymore? People mostly steal radios to sell to pawn shops or friends... and I don't think that anyone is going to pay much for a crappy old radio vs. the possible trouble of trying to steal it. I know that someone somewhere will steal anything, but I just don't think that the chances are very high that someone will risk stealing a junky old radio. Any radio thieves here? Would you steal a crappy old tape deck?

I work for Friendly's in Massachusetts and I was just given a $0.75 pay raise (as i've taken on more responsibility on the job) to $8.25 an hour. Suddenly this week's paycheck was 7.50 an hour (when last weeks was 8.25 an hour). There was no forewarning or reason given yet. While shady, is this legal? Is there anything I can do about it?

The Bored Man

There's a man named Ralph that goes into a bar, looking very depressed. A friend approaches him and asks, "Why the long face, Ralph?"

"Oh, I'm just bored. I know every person in the entire world now, and there's just nothing left to challenge me."

His friend says, "No, you can't know everyone. Do you know Paul McCartney?"

He says, "Sure, Paul's an old friend of mine. Here, I'll show you." He goes over to a phone, dials a number. His friend overhears a British accent, "Hey Ralph, how ya doing?"

He talks for a while, but when Ralph hangs up, his friend is not really sure that it was Paul McCartney on the other end of the line, so he asks him if he knows the president.Ralph says, "Sure, we go way back." This time he lets him listen in as he calls a private number. It sounds like the president on the other end of the line, and they go into a big discussion of the current economic scene, and Ralph offers a few suggestions. Drawing the conversation to a close, Ralph wishes him well and hangs up.

His friend is a little dumbfounded at this point. "Well, there must be someone that you don't know." He goes over a few more people in his mind, and thinks, 'He can't possibly know the Pope. After all, he's a Protestant.'

But Ralph claims to know him, so to convince himself otherwise, his friend desides to fly both himself and Ralph to the Vatican to get positive proof of Ralph's conviction.

So they arrive at the Vatican, and Ralph suggests that his friend wait out in the Papal square until Ralph has cleared things with the Pope. He's standing in the courtyard, when who walks out onto the balcony of the private residence, arm in arm with the Pope, but Ralph.

Ralph looks down, sees that his friend has apparently passed out, and runs down to see what can be done for him. "What happened to you? Couldn't you accept the fact that I really do know the Pope?"

"No, I'd begun to accept that possibility. But what really took my breath away was some stranger standing next to me who said, 'Who's that guy standing there with Ralph?'"

I would love to go to Las Vegas, but I have asthma. I live in Ohio & in the months of July & August it's so hot & humid I pretty much don't go outside ever. What would be the best time of year for me to go to Las Vegas? I've heard it's somewhat hot even in February.

I just started this class.. Um what does ¿Cóme te llamas? translate into exactly? I tried using online dictionaries like InterTran which didn't translate the accent mark and translated llamas to flame. I also tried the Apple SYSTRAN which wouldn't translate Cóme either to English. My teacher said that it just meant What's your name or What do you call yourself. Something like that. The point is I need a translator that translates every word. I can't get a pocket English - Spanish dictionary in this country.. I have to order it so I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out.
