I would love to go to Las Vegas, but I have asthma. I live in Ohio & in the months of July & August it's so hot & humid I pretty much don't go outside ever. What would be the best time of year for me to go to Las Vegas? I've heard it's somewhat hot even in February.

Whoever told you Vegas is hot in February lied. Vegas is cold from November to March.

The weather is good in October and early November and late March to April.

It's windy in Vegas with lots of blowing dust. Also, there are lots of cigarette smokers in the casinos and walking on the streets. I wouldn't come here if I had asthma.

Having moved to Las Vegas almost 20 years ago, my answer would be a most resounding NO. You may have skin conditions now but if you move to Vegas, you'll end up with mental condition trying to cope with some of the worlds most inconsiderate drivers, traffic that would cause the Pope to use profanities, water shortage threats everyday, 60 mph winds that cause dust thick enough to obscure the surrounding mountains, a green/orange haze that locks in the city every morning, beggars and bums on almost every street corner and in every supermarket parking lot, 115 degree temps in summer (when it's not really hot yet) and some of the most outrageous electric rates in the country.....unless you plan a short visit and that to a casino, Vegas is the last place that I would consider for anything

plenty of folks with asthma in LV, including my granddaughter and myself. Actually, the dry air and desert wind doesn't help. Since moving to TN where it IS hot and humid, my granddaughter has only had 2 small, manageable attacks- amazing considering how bad she was in LV. Also, LV CAN and DOES get rather chilly in the winter. February is one of the colder months an it can actually get below freezing at night, so bundle up! The best months to visit are probably October/November and March/April. Temps are usually "just right" then. Good Luck

It's about 40-50 degrees farenheit in february. Our pollution rating is high, especially because of dust particles from construction. However, the humidity here is extremely low, all year round, except for in late July and August, when we have our "rainy season"... which isn't much lol. I'd recommend you come any time during the winter. That's our dry season and the wind helps clear the smog.
