i don't know why these other answers are so negative about the notion. I don't think it is somehow a risk to living the life you are in now. Most people who are hypnotized and asked to go back before the womb come up with rich detail they could never create in a conscious state. however, a lot of researchers have tried following up on these details with little results.

Know Ur Past Life

I think that there is too much evidence of past-life regressions to factually state that we only have one life.

I can understand when people believe that we only have one life and there is nothing wrong with that believe. The point is that it is a belief and not a fact.

There are many hypnotists world-wide who have documented cases of clients who went in for a specific treatment (I.E. lose weight, stop smoking, cure a phobia) and their clients went into a past-life regression without prompting.

Their clients, in some cases, fluently spoke a different language that they would not normally know. In some cases, there clients demeanor would change as they described who they were and where they were.

One if the interesting benefits of Past Life Regressions is the benefit of healing. One theory on this is deeply rooted with reincarnation.

A spiritualist will tell you that our souls are eternal. God created our eternal souls long ago and, when we die, our souls will continue to live and grow in their spiritual growth. Many spiritualists will also tell you that most people have lived many other lives in different times and, when we die, we go Home to The Other Side. Our spirits remember everything from every life but, in our current life, our past-life memories are blocked out so we are not overwhelmed.

They will also tell you that there is something called cell memory. As an example, in a past life, a woman might have been suffocated when she was 20 years old. In this current life, the woman has developed asthma when she was 20 years old. She goes to a hypnotist (perhaps for an unrelated issue) and when she is put under hypnosis, she goes into a past life regression and “relives” her death. When she comes out of the regression, (And in the coming weeks) her asthma symptoms subside.

The reason this happened is because her spirit subconsciously remembered that she could not breath when she was 20 years old so it created the asthma to fulfill the memory. When she went through the past-life regression, she discovered that her difficulty breathing was from a past life and did not belong in this live.

There are countless cases, worldwide, of people who have been cured of ailments after a past-life regression

I am inclined to believe that you can learn about a past-life if you see a good hypnotist who specializes in past-life regressions. Have them provide references of people who will vouch for them. A good hypnotist will never ask, “Do you see this?” or “Are you royalty?” They will ask “Where are you? What year is it? Are you a man or a woman? How old are you…” they will not lead your answers, they will ask you to tell them what you see.

All the best to you!

This really should be in the Religion/Spirituality catagory.

I am a spiritualist. And, yes, you can remember your past lives.

There is a book called HOW TO UNCOVER YOUR PAST LIVES, by Ted Andrews. It's not an amazing book, but its ok. Look it up. It's a good start.

Also, you can find out about this subject in the Astrology section of any book store or online. I would start with Amazon.com, because they have everything. (Bookcloseouts.com has major book discounts too...)

Good Luck!

Doubt it very much, however, I don.t think we die. Like being born and percieved dying we don't remember this. So maybe we just carry on living but in a different time [ the future ] and different persona. I had many close friends during my school days, and met many close friends during my life time. However, I would be pushed to remember a handful of them now, this has got to be an age thing and perhaps a stage of me almalgamating into another life time of different people and different contexts, a continuos straight line to eternity, till the end of space itself.

ur past life is no where connected to ur present life .... it is all in mind. but it is said that when you are born in this world you remember something abt ur past life and that is why the first thing a new born will do is to cry. for coming again into the same world.

When you die, you leave your body and your brain. So you don't remember your past life. No brain no gain.

Don't even go down that road, you have one life, is all we get, this passed life nonsense is evil and will invite darkness into your life.
