We have been living together since almost a year and I asked him to marry me and he said as soon as he retires he will be ready,because I should not have to wait that long to be engaged I dont know what that meant(he will be retired in a year) but if he is so sure why does he have to wait aleast to be engaged I asked him that to he responed the same he didnt wan me to wait that long.Our age difference is 12 years different. I have one kid it is not his but he let me move in.I have noticed in the last couple of weeks he has not been looking me in the eyes as much.He spends money on me is that maybe because he thinks he is buying me to stay into this relationship.DO you think he loves me from my info and maybe will be ready for marriage and am I ready maybe a little to soon?

I had 2 cats. I sadly had to let one go because she would not stop peeing all over(my ex GF took her). I tried everything to get her to stop,had her the vets twice. So, I had to let her go.

Thing is, its been about 5 weeks since the other cat was here and the lone cat I have is driving me crazy. She just been nuts. I know she needs a friend. I'm moving in about a month so obviously I'm going to wait till I'm moved but I'm debating if a kitten or a full grown cat is better. I'm scared my cat will get jelious of a kitten but I'm also scared that a full grown cat will fight with my current one. Not sure what to do.

My grandmother is suffering from muscle spasms. Sometimes it is not there at all, but then on other days it's very, very violent (going all over the place). It's mainly the arm, and also the legs. Today she was fine, but then later when the jerks started, she also started slurring her words.

Scan results and etc are taking ages, so any help as to what it could be are appreciated?

I'm 4 years older than him. The first time I found out (a year ago), I told my parents and they talked about it with him and if he did it again he wouldn't be able to use to computer anymore.
He still did it, but my parents were so upset, I didn't want to tell them again because they would be even more stressed out. So I always kept it to myself.

looking at the history, he searches for cartoon/anime porn of his favorite animes. when i first found out, i saw one of the sites he was on and it was so disturbing...since then ive never viewed any of the sites, just the history...thats how freaked out i am by it.
today, i caught him on those sites again..at my moms workplace!! (when she wasnt there) then i caught him again when we got home!

Yeah, i know it's natural for boys to be doing this but he just finished 6th grade and i think he is too young to be doing this...plus isn't it illegal since he is underage?

what can i do without telling my parents?

Do I have to paint a wall white before painting it?

My wall is regular violet/purple now, and i want to paint it regular green. Should I paint my wall white first before painting it green, or should i just paint with green right away.

After being a smoker for 21 yrs, I have been on NRT for the past 6 weeks. Still smoking but cut down 75% and no smoking in the house either.
However, my mum came to visit yesterday, refused to stand outside, swore at my kids and has stunk my whole house out. She walked out today without even saying goodbye! I told her she was selfish for not respecting my wishes, but she left me a 'terse' note on my table saying thanks for my unhospitality!
How would you guys react to this?

The attic has two small rooms, one large room and a bathroom. On the other side the furnace is located with the ductwork. Everything in pretty standard drywall with a paint coat. I want to learn how to install attic vents and just need some guidance. Or is there a good comnpany to do this?
