Does anyone really enjoy it, dressing up, parties and all that goes with it, or is it just another annoying thing to come out of the US which we here in the UK have to suffer....
No prizes for guessing my views on the subject!

Well, it must be official that we're not having a summer if Hallowe'en is approaching. Actually Hallowe'en has always been celebrated in quite a big way in Scotland. I used to love dookin' for apples when I was a bairn.

Yes, we enjoy tremendously and I'm delighted that it falls on my regular days off this year.

And BTW, you don't have to suffer *anything* in your little UK. You can sit and watch TV (sorry, telly) by yourself and whine while the rest of the world has fun. I bet you're a barrel of laughs at Christmas too. Glad you're not my neighbor - we'd have to listen to you whine about our crowd of jack 'o lanterns - they're SO un-UK.

OOhh - I love it!!! I always get a pumpkin, cut it out and put a candle inside and pop it outside the front door - and get loads of sweets and treats for the trick or treaters!

I absolutely love it. I love the fall, the horror movies, dressing up, we always have a costume party, and we decorate our house all spooky. It's a great time.

I'd rather go to the stores and get myself a truck load of candies. At least I can choose to have what I wants and eat em to my grave
