1. Agree, or disagree: If you aren't having sex, there's something wrong with you.

Disagree. At this point in time, celibacy has never been a better idea! The risk of dying from AIDS just isn't worth it. And unless you are ready to take care of new life, don't have sex.

2. Boys: Do you feel like your manhood is on the line every time you're around a girl?

No. Sometimes I feel like a man and sometimes less of one. That is the reality of life.

3. When it comes to getting sexual, whose job is it to set the limits? Why?

Sex between a couple is a two way street. Both parties should communicate what they are willing to do and not do.

4. Some people think that you haven't become a "man" or a "woman" until you've had sex. Do you agree? Why, or why not?

Sexual prowess has zero to do with becoming a "man" or a "woman". I know immature and ignorant people who have had scores of partners. They are not any better for having sex. Becoming a man or a woman is based on your character and choices you make in life. Mother Theresa was a virgin and I would consider her a real woman.

5. What are some of the emotional risks of having sex?
-Regret...for not waiting or not choosing the right partner
-Fear...of STDs or pregnancy
-Rejection...what if you make an emotional attachment through this experience and your partner does not?

6. How can you tell when you're being pressured?
When someone tries to get you to something you don't want to do or you know is wrong.

7. Is it ever okay to pressure another person into having sex with you? Explain why you feel that way.

NEVER! When you are pressured into doing something you will more than likely regret it later.

8. What can make it difficult to say no to sexual pressure?
You don't want to let your partner down. Also you might be afraid of being rejected yourself for saying no.

9. Is it possible to love another person (in the romantic sense) and not have sex?
Sure it is. Many people have or have had relationships with people they love but never had sex with. SEX DOES NOT EQUAL LOVE!

10. Does having sex with someone prove that you love that person?
People in love have sex but SEX DOES NOT EQUAL LOVE!

11. What are some other ways, besides sex, to express your love or affection for a boyfriend or girlfriend?
Holding hands, saying I love you, being nice, respecting them, sacrificing for them, caring for them

12. Some people believe that if a boy wants to have sex, his girlfriend owes it to him. What do you think about that idea? Do you agree or disagree? Why? How does that idea make you feel?

Nobody in this world owes sex to anyone. A partner that claims they are owed sex is really owed a breakup.

13. How does it make you feel when people brag about having sex? Does it make you respect them more? Does it make them more cool? Why do you feel that way? Why do you think some people brag about having sex?

People brag about sex to make themselves feel more important. Most don't think it is harmful but it can be. If anyone thinks it is ok then ask them what they would think if they found out their father was at work bragging about having sex with their mother.

14. Do you know anybody your age who has been harmed by being sexually active, or who regrets being sexually active?
I know numerous girls who deeply regret the sexual actions of their youth. Once it is done you cant take it back.

15. How does something as dangerous as AIDS effect how you feel about sex? How do you think it is going to effect your decisions about sex?
AIDS is everywhere. It is a horrible, horrible way to die. You have NO idea how horrific it is unless you have seen somebody with it. Look on the internet yourself and you will only get 5% of the total picture.

16. How do you know that a potential sex partner is not infected with the AIDS virus or another sexually transmitted disease?

You dont! No matter what they say you dont.

17. What are the benefits of refraining from sexual activity at your age?
I am married so their is no real benefit but some benefits of celibacy for unmarried people are:
-safe from STDs/Pregnancy
-safe from emotional distress of sex
-feel better about yourself
-feel more connected to your spouse when you get married

18. Is there anything wrong with not being sexually active at your age?
No

19. When is it okay to start having sex? Why do you think that?
I am not trying to be old fashioned but I think one should wait until they are married or are with a life partner. I wish I would have waited.

20. What role, if any, should your parents play in helping you make choices about sex?
Sex can be a tense subject between a teen and a parent. However, you may not agree with what your parents say but most generally they have your best interest in mind. If you are curious about things teens should tell their parents they want to know about relationships and sex and ask their parents hypothetical questions. Example: "Mom, is it true that you cannot get pregnant the first time you have sex?" Mom should say "you can get pregnant ANY time you have sex".

I'm sorry this looks more like a questionnaire of wanting a whole lot more than help for homework. Put it in polls and surveys. They have answers for everything.

17. The benefits of refraining from sexual activity at my age are that you get to be safe from AIDS, will only be able to sleep with someone you trully love and only after marriage. Tough love I guess, especially when you're 27.

I could answer all of the questions, however, they would only pertain to me and my personal experiences. All of these questions are asking for your opinion, so there are no right or wrong answers. Just write what you actually think.
