Yes, it is a serious disease but it is also a cure .You can't help yourself because you never follow your heart and that is the cure.

But Plato was a closet homosexual, so I can see how he would say such a thing.
Socrates was basically killed for being a homosexual, corrupting the morals of the young men of Greece, and Plato spent his life writing about what Socrates supposedly said being as you can't kill the same person twice.
But I have read most if not all of Plato's work and he was a narcisistic homoerotic coward who seldom took credit for his own thoughts.
Try reading Aristotle. He is less of a freak, and much better written.
And it is so wrong to ask this question as Jude Law.
