This applies to all those that believe in a higher being of course.

Now as you think of your answer (those who might have managed to read this part, I know that many people on R+S don't read further than the initial question), I'd like to ask you this as well, and please be honest

Were you going to use a scripture as your reasoning? If you were, what part of that scripture was what convinced you that there was a god/gods, if not the whole thing?

been with my bf for 2 yrs and we'd love to get a flat, get married and have kids at some point. we can't afford to do anything right now but we know we want to spend the rest of our lifes together and we can't wait to start. only thing is we're both still in our teens and i want people to take us seriously and not think of us as kids rushing into things. any advice?

I am Shanghainese man and have read many comments regarding our women. How loose and easy they are and so on. I am feeling sorry to hear that but same time, have heard from my own relatives and parents about the behaviour of our new generations of women who actually do behave like what the westerners mentioned. Have our women changed so much that they are losing their own self-respect?? Blackmailing is very common too among the Chinese women when relationships fails. So sad but true.

5 yrs bk i discovered my husband had an affair while i was pregnant, thru a video cassette of him and his mistress extracurricular activities . On confronting him he didnt even apologize. For following two very long and hard yrs our marriage was cold like the south pole till things returned to normalcy but are still not the same like before ,they never will be. Meanwhile i find a net pal with whom i just click. Every idea , every thought , every word is spoken in sync with eachother , its like we can read eachothers minds. On occassions i have delibarately stayed away from the net but i feel something amiss. And then i go right back to chatting. He makes me laugh ,which never happens anymore with my husband thou he takes good care of me and our kid. Its like my husband changed in a very odd way after his mistress left him , he is there but not quite there. Meanwhile i miss his old self and in lack of that , i find it hard to resist the easy companionship i find with my net pal.

My apologies if this is off topic, but I have to get this off my chest.

The judge Roy Pearson, who lost a 54 million dry cleaning lawsuit had filed an appeal with the court, essentially, continuing on with the lawsuit.

The Chungs (dry cleaner owners) admit their mistake, had offered $3,000 to replace the missing pants prior to the original court hearing, and had even asked the judge not to fine Roy Pearson during the verdict for the payment of their own legal fees ($85,000). Now this judge is at it again, finding a way to get these dry cleaners.

As a side: WTF!!!!! Is this Roy guy for real? I mean the dry cleaners admit mistake, offered compensation and was gracious enough to foot their own legal bills when it could have gone his way? WTF?

Am I thinking level headed here? Is it just me or is this guy Roy Pearson just out to get vendetta after getting his ego bruised?
