I am married to a physics teacher who, although very intelligent, appears to have an emotional age of about two. He is demanding and can throw a strop that would impress the average toddler. His constant nagging about our daughter's eating habits are just the thing to make her anorexic. Is that what he really wants? His colleagues that I know seem equally juvenile and his descriptions of the goings on in the staff room seem more appropriate to a badly run creche. He is drivng me demented.

Am I just unbelievably unfortunate or is emotional immaturity a common characteristic of teachers?

It's nearly time to vote for the next President... and as an exercise lets run a little test real fast. Which of these men would you vote for.

Candidate A.

Associates with crooked politicians, and consults with astrologist He's had two mistresses. He also chain smokes and drinks 8 to 10 martinis a day.

Candidate B.

He was kicked out of office twice, sleeps until noon, used opium in college and drinks a quart ofwhiskey every evening.

Candidate C

He is a decorated war hero. He's a vegetarian, doesn't smoke, drinks an occasional beer and never cheated on his wife.

So, do you think you are above spin and propaganda? I would have thought I was until I voted for candidate C. Did anyone else choose the same as I did? If so, you just voted for Adolf Hitler. Candidate A was Franklin D. Roosevelt and B is Winston Churchill. Maybe this election.. we should listen less to the media and do more of our own research on the candidates.. what do you say?

I am going to Las Vegas for my first time in a few weeks. I am going to a college football game for more or less an entire day. Will 100 a day be enough? $150? I enjoy drinking, and gambling but would rather sit at a bar and bet on sports. Any advice on cheap drinks? What is video bar poker? THanks

If I die and there is a God, I will be judged on my acts of love and charity, and if he decides to cast me to hell because of something frivilous like not agreeing the purpose of my life to pad his ego, or because I guessed wrong in a complex situation (as most moral judgements in everyday life are just that, guesses), or because I wore polester clothes or loved a person of the wrong gender (how can true love be wrong?)... then what kind of God would that be? A monster, a fool. Would you want to spend eternity praising such a beast? Burning is hell doesn't sound so bad now, if it means being seperated from such a thing's presence.

I pray you're wrong. Yes, atheists pray, because if god does exist and he is all powerful, every thought is a prayer, god would hear everything. Wish me all the blessings and prayers to change me all you like, but the problem is and always has been your god.

Also, which one has cheap full coverage insurance.
I really want the CTS but it is not practical considering I live in Michigan and it's rear wheel drive.

A lot of parking lots now a days have only one way to get into a parking spot. The parking spots are on an angle.
What do you do when YOU are going the right way, and someone else in a car is coming in the wrong direction and REFUSES to move over or back up?

Mind you, some of these isle's are narrow and can only fit one vehicle down the lane.

I have a yellow 5 leaf clover style badge. I think it might be brownies or guides. It is yellow with gold edging and a gold symbol in the middle. The symbol looks like a P but the bottom of it is longer...like a joined up PL. Can anyone help me identify it?

If you can, God would be wrong. Since God can't be wrong, you can't make that free choice and therefore you have no free will.

Interesting to think about. Traditionally, the first lady's main job is to campaign for her husband. Once he is in office, she does public apperances and supports his views. Now, I have no doubt that most husbands would have no problem doing this if thier wife took office. But, why would Bill want to visit sick kids in the hospital while his wife is running the country? I mean, it seems like he's had his fill of public life. Do you think he'll make a good 'first gentleman'?

I am looking for a puppy....I just lost my 5y/o shih tzu and want a new puppy. A friend showed me a local site to search. I found a yorkie puppy that all was needed was $69 for paperwork....I knew it was too good to be true but was stupid and sent the money.......My husband found that this person has numerous ads for the same puppy in many states. the individual had a yahoo email and I would like to report them and the shady activities they are doing thru this account. I am sure I wont get my money back but I guess I will chalk it up to a learning experience and to know to go with the gut at all times.....So how do I report this person so they dont scam anyone else?
