A lot of parking lots now a days have only one way to get into a parking spot. The parking spots are on an angle.
What do you do when YOU are going the right way, and someone else in a car is coming in the wrong direction and REFUSES to move over or back up?

Mind you, some of these isle's are narrow and can only fit one vehicle down the lane.

The purpose of 'one-way' parking lots is to allow more cars to park by reducing the widths of the travel lanes. Should someone refuse to back up, I would also refuse. If they get irate, I would tell them that THEY are going the wrong direction and therefore THEY need to make things right. It happened to me once where the guy refused to back up, so I stuck my head out the window and looked at the ground, then said "the arrow is pointing THIS direction". He immediately backed up. Hope this works for you.

You stay put, and they have to back up. Ive been in that situation, some 16 year old kid came hauling down a 1 lane parking isle and i was on my way out and he almost hit me, then flipped me off. He was trying to look cool for his little girlfriend. He ended up looking stupid when he had to back up.

I sit there, point in their direction showing them it goes "THAT WAY!" and then wait. I've never had someone not move. They know!
