What is this PL badge?

I have a yellow 5 leaf clover style badge. I think it might be brownies or guides. It is yellow with gold edging and a gold symbol in the middle. The symbol looks like a P but the bottom of it is longer...like a joined up PL. Can anyone help me identify it?

I am not familiar with the guides and brownies, but the scouts are divided in patrols, and each patrol has a patrol leader. Ours did get a home made patch with PL or APL for the assistant patrol leader.
