I'm a freshmen and don't know ANYTHING (not even the positions really) about football but decided to join because I wanted to do something new. I'm going to be a running back but can't catch the ball at all. It's kind of like it's hard for me to find the ball with all of my gear on and move around and stuff to try and catch it...what can I do to improve that?

I work for a company with 4 full time employees. The owner is also the president. He is robbing the company blind. Can't he get into trouble for that or does the laws protect him when he does something like this. We've paid for his new truck as well as 2 of his houses. He owed the company $12,000. He found out a way where that not only got wiped out but the company now owes him $30,000. How is that possible?

I made sauerbraten and the sauce was great, but the meat was stringy when it fell apart. It was just too much chewing.

After I marinade the meat, can I cook it in the oven uncovered like a regular roast and serve it medium-rare. I would have the flavor and not all that stringy meat that falls apart. Will the meat slice if I do it this way or will it still fall apart from the marinade.

A woman was shopping at her local supermarket where she selected:
2 litres of low fat milk, a carton of eggs, 2 litres of orange juice, a head of lettuce, half a dozen tomatoes and a 500g jar of coffee.
As she was unloading her items on the conveyor belt to check out, a drunk standing behind her watched as she placed the items in front of the cashier.
While the cashier was ringing up her purchases, the drunk calmly stated, "You must be single."
The woman was a bit startled by this proclamation, but she was intrigued by the derelict's intuition, since she was indeed single. She looked at her six items on the belt and saw nothing particularly unusual about her selections that could have tipped off the Drunk to her marital status.
Curiosity getting the better of her, she said, "Well, you know what, you're absolutely correct. But how on earth did you know that?"
The drunk replied, "Cos you're ugly."
