In fantasy land, vampires for sure.
And I love Johnny Depp, but vampires are still hotter because of all of the mystery around them. you know centuries old yet eternally youthful and there is always the sexual magnetism about the vampires. I think that is the same for the pirates also. It has to do with the fact that they are both "bad boys".
You know we want what we are not suppose to have.

I'm not a chick and pirates were generally men, but I'm going to go with neither as well. Vampires = undead so after a few years I imagine that no amount of perfume/cologne can cover up that scent. Pirates = men living with men at sea with no running fresh water. Think of the worst locker room stench possible and then multiply that a few thousand times. Nope. Nothing "hot" about vampires or pirates.

How bout Vampirates? All it would take would be a pirate getting bitten by a vampire. Then he could raid English ships and suck the blood of virgins all at the same time - cool!
There is the problem of what do do in the daytime, maybe this Vampirate should talk to Blade to see if he could get some of that serum that makes him a Daywalker.

Let's see...
The legend of vampires come from the effect decay has on dead bodies. Stomachs bloating made people believe that the bodies were rising to feed, and reddish ooze visible around orifices makes them believe it was blood.
Pirates on the other hand were merciless killers who would often kill every man, woman and child they came across, after raping any females (and some men). There was no honor among them; they would kill each other as often as anybody else.
So which is sexier...? A bloated corpse or an unwashed, rapist who is probably going to kill you when he's done with you? Couldn't you come up with any better options?
