I took mine at tickle.com. I got a 136 on it. anyone else taken it? if not, where did you take it? If we are all going to compare IQs, we should at least all take the same test. Right?

Those online tests give everyone a high score and then try to scam you into spending money on something.

My test was administered in a psychologist office in Norfolk Virginia. There were 3 actual IQ test and 2 personality test.
Mine were all administered in 1973. Apparently some tests are more accurate at certain ranges than others. My lowest score was 145.
I've been told that I'm a disappointment for not living up to my potential, and I don't give a fig.
It was the reason for most of the stress between my father and I.
I still remember reading a book called “Of Time Space and Other Things” by Isaac Asimov while waiting for the test. On page 122 on the third paragraph down second line I saw the word “rhetorical” for the first time. I can still see the page. I remember that book taught me all about factorials and opened my understanding of probability.
My lowest score was in language because I'm slightly dyslexic and my Microsoft Word spell checker saves me from embarrassment daily. My short-term memory seems to be failing now I'm 48 years old and I take Ginkgo biloba when I remember too but it doesn’t seem to be working.

I had mine done by a psychologist a long time ago.

The comparisons to Einstein don't necessarily work, since even a small percentage of people with an IQ in the 150-160 range will still be a large raw number of people when taken over billions of earthlings. Plus, it's not like Einstein's IQ was what made him special. One can have an IQ similar to Einstein's without having anything near his creative genius.

Well, Tickle says I'm 135-

"Your Intellectual Type is Visionary Philosopher. This means you are highly intelligent and have a powerful mix of skills and insight that can be applied in a variety of different ways. Like Plato, your exceptional math and verbal skills make you very adept at explaining things to others — and at anticipating and predicting patterns. And that's just some of what we know about you from your IQ results."

Then there's a pitch to get me to buy more info... Oh, and I have a touch of cynic, too...

I had mine done by a teacher in grade school once. Can't remember exactly what it was, but it was at least the 120's. I remember that she was very excited that I scored so high (but then, I was one of the few that left the small VERY small farming community and went on to higher education and I am the only one in my family with a college degree)

Mine was measured when I was in grad school - 136. That was over a decade ago. I'm not sure what it is now after marriage. I think I lost 10% of my brain capacity after pregnancy because I totally forgot the memories of childbirthing. Maybe my brain got fried from all the narcotics and painkillers. Oh well.

The tickle.com test maxes out at 140. It may be suitable for scores near 100 but it is pretty unreliable over 135.

MENSA IQ 137, I am a Msc in Psychology, soon to be a PhD, and as I stated earlier Einstein had an IQ of 156, so therefore the results given are to say the least, RUBBISH.

I was administered a test by a licensed psychologist when I was 16. I have no idea if my score has gone up or down since then, because I haven't taken another one, not even an online test.

The online tickle test. (IQ 130).

But my Mum is a psychologist and she tested all of us with a much more thorough intelligence test. Most of her 8 children came up in the high range for language, comprehension, maths, etc... Most of us had slow (slightly below average) processing speeds, though. Two of my brothers came up as genius (also with high processing speed). My epileptic sister came up with some really wacky scores... near genius in reading comprehension, but way below average in interpretation of social things, and +++ low processing speed.

Epilepsy runs in our family. All of those with low processing speeds have/had epilepsy (incl. me).

I also came up in the top 10% of Australia for my STAT test (measures ability to succeed in tertiary studies). The results confirm my mother's findings (and seem to verify my Tickle test, too.)

High school, strongly mechanically inclined. 128 but that was 25 years ago, Einstein was 155 I believe so anyone posting higher than that is in my opinion stretching my knickers!

My oldest daughter was a 4.0 when she graduated joined the navy and having difficulty's sticking with any one MOS.
She also can't drive a stick!
Her I.Q. is undoubtedly higher than mine, yet she's book smart not street smart.
