I recently went out with a chick and I really didn't set up the date she did with me. So I went to he resturant and had dinner with her and she askes me "Do you want to go halfs on the dinner". Since I really didn't set up the date I said yes. Well then I tryed to set up a date with her the second time and she tells me. That I sould have payed for the dinner and that she likes chivalry from a guy and tells me that we can be friends.

I just thought I would see what most people think about the guy or the girl buying dinner or how that works?

I find it baffling and mind boggling that Peter Edward Rose Sr. born 04-14-41 - 66 years old, is not in the Hall of Fame yet. How many current Hall of Famers want him in? I know Mike Schmidt does, as i'm sure Ripken and Gwynn do as well. It's the old farts like Bob Feller who don't want him in. Say what you want about his gambling AFTER his career, but the numbers Pete Rose put up were astounding. 10 seasons of 200 hits or more, yes, Ichiro will beat that, but that is incredible in itself. And to me, there is only ONE RECORD in baseball, and that is the all time HITS record, which Rose has, not the all-time HR record, and mark my words, NO ONE will touch this record for probably another 50 years, this and Joe Dimaggio's 56 games hitting streak. Those are 2 records that won't be touched for generations. Let Pete in already, and don't say, WELL HE COMMITED THE MOST CARDINAL SIN OF BASEBALL, he gambled...True, but the gambling that was brought into question was when his playing

What is the difference between a DVI and a VGA cable? I got both cables when I bought my computer screen for my XPS 410 Desktop. I have a 22" Dell E228WFP LCD Monitor. Which cord should I use to connect to the computer the DVI or VGA? Any help would be nice.

I bought a lava lamp two days ago, and at that time it was working fine. But today, i turned on the lamp and waited for the "lava" to heat up and start floating. however, within 10 minutes, the "lava" part just detached from bottom of the lamp and the whole thing was like solid wax and not liquid. Is this normal or is there a problem?

Okay, I would really love it if there were some serious answers on here. I have a dream - No, not to become the next Miley Cyrus or Jennifer Aniston, but a dream I actually think is realistic. I live near Los Angeles, I think auditioning for some commercials, or even guest starring on a reality TV show would be an amazing experience. Since I'm still only fourteen, I realize my parents encourage me to be the typical "doctor, engineer, professional"...and I don't approve of modeling with bikinis, nude, or revealing clothes. I just want to say I've had the experience of being in showbiz - And hey maybe if the showbiz likes me, I can pursue it further. For now, I think it would be awesome to be famous, but I just want to pursue my passion of being on stage. I want to audition - Any advice?

I used to read more, now I get bored. I used to know alot more, now I feel like I'm dumb. Even the things I had alot of fun with before bore me now.

I am in a 2 year relationship that is deteriorating. Both of us love each other very much, but it is dull. He says I'm too 'subserviant' He likes being teased, having mental stimulation. I would like that too!! But I just dont feel like I know how.

I avoid conversations. I cant concentrate. My roommate asks me to read something she liked from her class, and I cant get past the first page. Its an interesting subject, but I am just not interested, even though I am, if that makes any sense.....

Please! I need some help.

I'm making an appointment with a counsellor tomorrow, but I am feeling so low right now.
