My b/f asked me out of the blue one day, "How can water get on fire?" My reply was, "The only way there will be fire on the water is if there is gas, petrol or anything chemical that can catch on fire" Maybe there is a better way of explaining this. He also asked, "So, how long can we keep the fire burning on the water?" I guess as long as there is enough gas,petrol or other chemical on the surface of the water. Am I right? Can someone please explain this science in a simple english term, thank you.

My sister slept with my boyfriend almost 4 years ago. He was the one to tell me. We were very close and it hurt very bad. She didnt apologize or seem to care. My ex boyfriend and I broke up 5 months ago. Before we dated, we were best friends for about 6 months, then dated for 9 months. During that time I was the happiest I have ever been. I broke up with him after about a month of him working all the time, never talking to me, and me basically having a relationship with his voice mail. After I broke up with him, I realized how much he meant to me and tried to get back together with him, but he completely disappeared with no phone for almost 3 months. Since he reappeared, we've only talked a little bit because he was working 2 jobs, one during the day, one at night, and was taking a couple classes. But now he's in rehab for drinking and gamboling.
I don't know if I should give up and forget about my best friend, or if I should keep trying to work things out and be friends. I've been trying really hard and he doesn't seem to have any intentions of being agreeable. I don't know how to move on, I just miss him so much. Any thoughts?

We were out with another friend of ours and we were just play fighting about whose man was better and she really hurt me when she said if my fiance was so "perfect" then why did he go to a strip club and wants to go back. It really hurt my feelings and I took it person and told her my fiance makes way more money then her trashy boyfriend. She was so angry that she got up and left. I thought she deserved it but now I'm hurt because we aren't speaking and she won't answer my calls or my text messages. I am in the process of buying my first AR. I have been looking and am wondering about the barrel options. Please give some insight on chrome lined vs stainless vs non lined barrels. I am intrested in accuracy, and barrel life. Also if any of you have any optics ideas for a target/varmint rifle, let me know. What do you think about the super sniper optics line. The rifle's I am looking at are in the Bushmaster and DPMS line. Any help would be appreciated.

I am study aikido in an academy where i pay a monthly fee of about $30, however the sensei (and owner of the dojo) charges people money when they take an exam to try to advance in rank, and this exam price goes up when the rank does, 8th kyu costs about $25 but by 5th kyu or so its about $50-$75
is this how it is suppose to be done? how is it done in japan?

I have a Chevy Trailblazer SUV, and I'm thinking about buying a pop-up (folding) camper. We would like to take our bicycles with us when we go camping. I currently use a bike carrier that mounts to my trailer hitch. So - if I connect the camper to my trailer hitch, what's the best way to haul the bicycles? They don't fit in the back of the SUV, and I DON'T want to put them on the roof of the SUV. Does the camper have a trailer hitch in the back?

I have been breastfeeding my son, (or more or less pumping and feeding because he wont latch on) for over 5 months now. He's almost 5 1/2 mos old.
I recently had an ear infection, which i had to take antibiotics for. The doctor said the antibiotics were safe for breastfeeding. For the last 5 days or so, i've noticed the amount of milk has gone down. ( I was able to get about 6-7 ounces every time now i only get about 3-4 ounces)
Is the decrease because of the antibiotics? The frequency of pumping hasnt gone down, since it's supply and demand.
I've been take'n fenugreek to help get the supply back up, and "power pumping"
Any suggestions ? Thanks!

I purchased one without researching them about 6 years ago at least and the little guy has grown from a half inch to about 3 inches. Anyone have one or have any experience with them??? Curious as to their lifespan, tankmates, and general info. Internet has been kind of cloudy and I am reading tons of different things. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I was watching this truth commercial, and it left me speechless....this guy had came up to this man that had cows in a barn or what ever, and he was milking his cows.....this guy came up to him and told him "did you know that drinking milk is more risker, than second hand smoke?"......i dont get it, how is milk bad for you......i thought it was the best thing for you off the side of water....thats like telling me that drinking (clean)water is risker than doing drugs what....i dont get it please explain to me how drinking milk is more risker than second hand smoke.....plzzzzzz !!!!

I think the only ruls should be that an establishment has to CHOOSE if they are a smoke friendly place or not. They would have to have a sing on the entrance saying so. and their ads would say No Smoking if they didn't allow it.

I think this way owners get to run their buisnesses the way they want.

If you don't like smoking then you can go somewhere else. NOBODY has the RIGHT to a smoke free bar or restarant. You are not forced to go there and they are not forced to feed you.

Now I agree that smoking sections are the dumbest thing in the world because that's pointless. The smoke's going to go all over the room.

But I think they should be allowed to choose if they allow smoking or not.

It should be the owners choice.
