i stated doing doing 300 crunchs a day about 4 days ago and when i finshed each day i would feel a burn in my ab musles but on the 5th day i did the same thing and theres no more burn what happened did my body adjust to the work out or.......

the burn means nothing. 300 crunches daily is way to much, when done properly you shouldn't be able to do more than 25. quality reps beat quantity any day of the week. great abs are made in the kitchen anyway. with out decreasing the body fat percentage the true shape of the abdominal wall will not be revealed.

Yeah your body adjusted. And, by the way, 300 is way too many. If you can do that many than you need to try a different ab exercise or incorporate weights into your ab workout. When working abs, aim for no more than 20 reps before you feel a burn.

Yep your body adjusted to the workout, now you need to pick it up a few more if you want to feel the burn. Or you can do the same amount but move your legs around. Put both straight up, then just one and the other. Etc... that will get different stomach muscles and you will feel the burn again.

yes i think soooo when i did 100 or so in school in 5th grade when i started it burned atiny bit but went away
