I read this story on yahoo and it made me angry in Arlington Texas a memorial service was due to take place for a naval veteran who had served his country in times of war only to have his church cancel the service because they learned that he's gay so what!! Just because he is gay doesn't mean that he doesn't have the right to a memorial service in his honor. He is one of thousands who served his country in the armed forces and is a patriotic hero who deserves a religious memorial service in his church he did his patriotic duty by his country let him have his memorial service.
I think the church that cancelled the service 24 hours before the service was due to begin should rethink and let the service go ahead.
