Transition is scary however I live in a high end area.
I've heard stories anywhere from "you will not get paid for a year" to "great move".Is it better to start part time which I will keep my income but I won't have much time to learn, orrrr...do it full time to get a full grip of it with a part time job?Please answer if you have experience in this field and thanx.

I know a man who migrated to Australia in the 1970's. He never stops going on and on about his old country and how it is the best place in the world but he has lived here longer than he lived there. He married an Australian woman and his kids were all born here. He still celebrates all the holidays of his former country even though they mean nothing here. He gets really angry if anyone says anything even a little bit negative about his old country and he says negative things about Australia sometimes. Do you think this is ok - to come to another country and still love the country he left? Should people totally reject their old country and culture when they migrate to another?

I lost my product red iPod nano that i got for my birthday. I have no idea where i lost it and i've only just slowly realised that its not in my room i think i have actually dropped it somewhere.

This is more of a poll of my different options so please tell me what you think i should do!

A) Buy a new one (i have a job so i can pay for it but it willt ake up my entire paycheck!)
B) The red ones are the msot expensive annoyingly.. should i buy a cheaper colour (like silver one) and then just get a case so my family don't notice (it was a present).
C) Just get a different model and try to hide it from my family.. they only ever see me with headphones in so wouldn't know it was missing.

Any opinions?

Why the American soldiers’ morality contradicts with what they advertise in their movies? We have all seen American movies portraying American soldiers as brave merciful and decent, but the reality in Iraq and Afghanistan reveals the opposite. A very huge percentage of the American soldiers in these countries rape women and children, murder innocent civilians, break into houses, and even steal. Why doesn’t the government send them prostitutes to keep them off our sisters? Or better yet, punish them? Aren’t they considered terrorists, too? Is it at all possible to overcome one obession, one which has been financially and morally distructive? I am attending gamblers annonymous, and I honestly feel I will recover from the devistation it has left me in.
MY QUESTION IS: Is it possible to unconciously replace one compulsion with another? Such as after the gambling has ceased, having the compultion of something positive? I've noticed that I can't sweep my floor enough...I took 4 hours cleaning out my car with not one speck of dirt behind. I wasn't like that before when I was gambling. Is one obession taking over the other?? It sure seems like it.

Alot of you guys on here just talk about bad things in religion like wars and prejudice but religion does not teach war or prejudice ppl choose to do so.

How come nobody on here talks about the good in religion like my church every year we hold fundraisers to help ppl in 3rd world countries ive never heard of any athiest organizaton doing anything to help anyone. Look at the christians childrens fun they do so much good in the name of god. What about martin luther king he was a preacher and taught tru christianity love and equality.

And another thing why do athiest on here act like religous ppl are all stupid look at albert einstein he was jewish and arguably the smartest man of the 20th century.

You guys act like we christians go around enslaving you for like 200 yrs and then when your free not giving you equal rights for a 100 yrs like serously what are you guys so mad about when was the athiest holocuast that i missed. i just dont understand the hostility.
