Interest in male friend (younger) with potential to enter relationship, he needs time to think over the age difference, is this an issue?

It does not matter at all. let him read this - I am 30, my bf is 21. We both had an issue with this for about 3 days. I thought there was no way he would be interested and he was worried about his friends/family. HIS friends were more supportive of it than mine - but now no one seems to care at all. Not that friends opinions made a difference to me, but at his age, it was a factor - now he does not care what anyone thinks. We have been together for over a yr. now - he is the first man I have loved and this is by far the best relationship I have had. We have sooooooo much in common it is freaky - we get along fabulously, we never argue and well, the sex is so much better than anyone I have been with. he is very giving in that area - always making sure I am satisfied first (and usually a few times) he can go more than once and it lasts hours if we want it to.
BTW he is the first younger man I have ever dated or been interested in - which just goes to show me, age is not important, if you guys get along, have things in common and enjoy each others company, that is all that matters.

It's not an issue if the two of you can find a middle point and work things out. See, you have to remember that a person who is younger than you are, would be light hearted and fun loving. You two will always have to remember why you are interested in each other at the first place. I say go for it but talk it out if any problems arise.

Age doesn't matter. My boyfriend is 6 1/2 years younger than I am. The only problem you may encounter is if the friend is too young. Not too young for you, just too young for a serious relationship. Good luck!

Age don't really matter if you're compatible. However, honey, if he has to take time to think about it, ...maybe , he has issues you need to address. Younger guys look good, but, not all have the maturity of their looks. Just be careful sweetie. Good luck ! Hooray for older women ! ( P.S. as long as this guy & yourself are of "respectful" age) LOL.

Depends on both your ages. When he is 25 and you are 33 it doesn't matter at all because he is then fully mature and so are you. Before then...it could matter a lot...like if he is 18 and you are 26....you are fully adult, but he is not. Then it matters!

i know some people who do have age issues... but then again i know a married couple where the woman i over 20 years older than the man and they are very happy together.. give him time to think... if he says yes then great.. if not dont force the issue... good luck

if youre both ove 20 i dont see a problem. as long as hes a potential person that you could see yourself in a relationship with. if its just a boy toy thing, or just a sex thing, make sure that he knows all of the facts so hes not going into it blind. if hes real young you could break his heart very easily. just remember that hes probably fragile and vulnerable to you. be gentle darlin. have, safe, fun.
