I've seen too many times the argument against evolution because it supposedly teaches social Darwinism - the belief that the strong should kill off the weak, whether that means the poor or the "less superior" races.
The theory of evolution is not a philosophy, but a heavily backed scientific explanation of how life changes (which is fact). By saying evolution is something to "believe in," you are equating it to a religion, which is incorrect. Quoting a phrase I read somewhere, "the truth doesn't pick sides," whether good or evil comes from it.
Believers and nonbelievers alike say we can't be 100% certain of something we weren't there to see. Therefore, we must study the facts we are given, and base conclusions off of them. Agree?
