I think i broke mine- my ankle is very still, very painful to try and move, i can move my toes, but again very painful. It's swollen a little bit all the way around the ankle joint, and it has light bruising, but the foot has little blotches of purple now too. this happened last night, and i cannot walk on it whatsoever. Is it sprained really bad or broken? (no insurance, so if it sounds like a break, i'll go, but if just a sprain i'd like to avoid the expensive ER bill...)

I just finished "The Handmaids Tale" by Margaret Atwood.

This is a book about a society taken over by religious nut jobs. Sex outside of marriage is a hanging offense unless a man of power is assigned a handmaid. Her only purpose is procreation.

Once a month they have intercourse with the handmaid laying back on the wife, and the wife holding her hands, the theory being the 3 become one. No touching other than necessary and very clinical. It is called "The Ceremony".

I can see Pat Robertson endorsing outlawing sex. Can't you?

My boyfriend's coming to visit me and I want to cook dinner for him. The problems are..

He's very picky. He doesn't like any green vegetables. He likes steak, but I want side dishes, too.

Also, I'm a beginner cook. So I need it simple and easy with lots of detailed instructions.

Last problem, I live in a apartment style dorm. So my resources are limited. I have a stove and oven, and a george foreman grill. haha But I don't want to be spending a great deal of money for ingredients for one dinner. I'm a broke college student.

Any ideas?

She started to accuse him because he didnt want to get her a new computer and she said it happen back when she was little she said that it was when he was teachin her how to swim he accidently grabbed her in the wrong place because his hand slipped due to the water, and she is causing some much pain to the family her mother believes my father in law there relationship is still good ,since his stepdaughter and her older sister have mind control over there mother they had himm leave the house even though its under his name.My question is what legal action can he take to clear his name.they have threathen him by saying they will take him to court and calling the police it is going on almost a year and have not taken any legal action against him all they are doing is just scarring him.If any one has any advice i will appreciated,. I have a TiVo that I purchased about 2 or 3 years ago. I used it when I had a satellite package through DirecTV. When I changed from Direct to Dish, the TiVo ended up on the floor in a closet because Dish supplied a leased DVR as part of their package.

Now I'm considering cancelling all satellite services completely and using only regular (non-pay) television channels. Will I be able to use my TiVo? Or do I need to have a satellite package to use it? (Of course I would read the TiVo booklet but I don't know where it is.)

I'd like to give myself a french manicure but I am not stead enough to make the tips evenly white. In the past, I've bought those sticky strips to adhear to my nails, but they really don't work. When I peel the strips off, it takes some of the white polish with it and the seam is uneven in thickness.

Is there a product/kit I can buy that will help me give myself a flawless french manicure?

Any reccomendations for the white poilsh...brand wise?

I read about how there were over 100000 Jews who willingly served in Hitler's army, with his full knowledge and approval (some became generals) -- this is a historical fact. Just wondering if any of those ever moved to Israel, how would their neighbors treat them if they knew? Would descendants of those Hitler Jews be afforded the same rights of refuge in Israel as other Jews?
