hey! well i am in jazz lessons and we are having a presentation on december (the theme is christmas) and the teacher asked us to bring cool, fast, upbeat christmas songs that we can dance to. do u know some cool, fast, upbeat christmas songs?

Hi guys, I'm a capoeirista of about a year now, but I'm from a Regional school. However, I'm moving to Manhattan in 2 weeks and I want to study with Mestre Joao Grande. With that in mind, I have 2 Angola questions. First, what is the signifigance of wearing a cap while you play? It seems that only the mestres wear them, other time I see younger students wear black ones, are there any rules or reason? Second, what role do acrobatics play in Angola? Obviously there aren't flips, but in Youtube videos I've seen players do a lot of handstands, even some open cartwheels (as opposed to closed ones) and one time a macacao! Are these taught or are they just Regionalistas playing an Angola roda?

I got a speeding ticket saying I was doing 41 in a 25. I went back and checked every speed limit sign and every one says 35. 4 mph over is a big difference between 16 mph over. What should I do? Could the ticket get thrown out?

Yahoo News and CNN were talking about the Youtube video featuring a baby Water buffalo being attacked by Lions and then Crocodiles. And yet they all list the attack from Lions and Alligators. Are they that stupid to believe that Alligators live in Africa? The film was shot in Kruger National Park in South Africa. There are no alligators there...
Don't these people check their sources?

How much should it cost to have a repair man come out and look at my tv? I just picked up a tv for free, a pretty nice big screen, and I need someone to take a look at it and see if its worth fixing. Also do I need to have the tv completely hooked up or can I just plug it in the wall and they can tell if it is fixed without being hooked up to cable.

I work nights so about 2a.m. I take my dog( AmStaff) for a walk in the park. I have for years.
This morning we were confronted by a German Shepard that growled at me or us for that matter.
We tried to avoid him,but he attempted to corner us and my dog became protective, grabbed him by the neck,shook him like a dog toy and pinned him.
Next thing I know there is a Police officer, gun drawn threatening to shoot my dog.
It turns out the shepard was a K-9 officer sent into the park to search for a burglary suspect.
I spent the night in jail, my dog is still at Animal Controll and we are being charged with assaulting the K-9 officer who agressed on us.
And YES! Pluto was on a leash the whole time.

Will the charges stick?

Assume somebody with a fake gun comes up and robs me. I think the gun is real. If I defend myself and end up killing that person, is it self defense or manslaughter? What would happen to me in court. Assume it is PROVEN that I was defending myself.

Lets assume the person with a gun was under 18 and I didn't know it.

We are 'preapproved' for a mortgage up to $220,000.
I am going to school fulltime
and my husband is working fulltime.
We have no dependants, we have to move to a new city to start my school and rent there is around $1100 a month for a 1 bedroom and $1500 for a fourplex, $1700 for a duplex. INSANE PRICES.
We have looked into buying a house as a mortgage would be cheaper then renting monthly. We have found a trailor thats at $54000 paying what we pay now in rent we would have it payed off in 5 years.
This trailor is only 31 years old...... we were told never to get a trailor because the value never increase is this true? or in this circumstance we should?

Okay, just looking for some good advice, not criticism. My brother is engaged to a girl who has been married twice already. They are planning a huge bash next summer (250+ to the wedding and reception). They have asked me to stand up in teh wedding, but I do not agree with it and haven't really made my decision yet. She is planning to fly to Miami to have a designer dress made and have booked a $25,000 reception. This is her 3rd marriage (who knows how long its going to last) and I feel like they are getting married because both of them were lonely. My brother makes good money and I feel like she is taking advantage of it. If you were in my shoes, what would you do? Its hard to stand by and watch my brother be used. I feel like he is honestly blind to all of her games.

I ask because I want to know based on how he is and how he reacts to me if he's interested in me or not. I can never tell who's gay or not. I am really bad at it. I have a car and my wife is the cosigner. She does not have a license and she is not on my insurance. She said she is going to take my car tomorrow to go to work. She has done this before and I call the police and they say there is nothing they can do b/c she is a cosigner and she owns half of the vehicle. I do not want car to be wrecked and her get pulled over and then they impund it. What do I do to keep her off the road and out of my car so none of this happens? I am in Ga.

I have a 97 blazer. I just replaced the AC compressor. How many points can leak on this system? its not leaking at the valve or on top of the compressor where the Hoses go in. I charged it to 40- 60 psi lastnight in the blue reading but not all the way up. about halfway and the next day the compressor isnt staying on and its not cold.

my bf and i were just fooling around on the 6th, the day after my ovulation ended( so i think cuz some of the internet tools say i start ovulation on the 11th of august) but we didnt have intercourse. What happened to all the sarcasm and wit that was an integral part of YA? Have the trolls beaten everyone down so that they give these boring helpful answers that lack all things good about YA?!

Maybe I shouldn't ask questions in the "paranormal" category...because the give me extremely normal answers.

I'm saddened by this recent turn of events. I'm finding that I have actually been working while at my desk...not trying to stifle my laughter at the brilliance of my YA peers.
