eweey nothing worse than an undercooked or overcooked question! You can also try the throw one up to the ceiling trick and test one that way. The trick is to drain them really well and rinse them off. Make sure you spice 'em up a bit with a bit of Mrs. Dash

try putting them in the microwave for an extra 3 minutes but let them stand for about a minute after you take them out...they may be too hot

Try boiling them a little longer and add salt and olive oil to them. That should help.
