Im sorry but in my "OPINION" hip hop and rap does plain suck i am into all kinds rock more alternative, emo, and screamo but really i mean how many people will it take to say it is a waste of money and talent and yes to some im wrong but Id like feed back please

I currently live in Rhode Island but I am moving to California in three months. I got hired for a job in Santa Monica that pays $100,000 a year and my husband was hired for a job in Long Beach that pays $75,000. That’s a total household income of $175,000. Can I rally afford a home on this. I just sold my home in Rhode Island for $230,000 and I made $53,580 after paying the realtor. Where is a good place to live that we can afford, yet still get to work. I don’t mind a long drive, just not too long. I currently travel to Boston for work, which takes about an hour. I would like to own a house, not a condo. I have two sons and would need a 3+ bedroom home. I’m just a little worried how we can afford to live there. I’m flying out on Monday to find a house, but I’ve been looking on the internet and checked out the San Fernando Valley, Long Beach, and Northern Orange County. All I see is homes that are like $625,000 to $950,000. Is this feasible? Can I really afford California?

A New York lawyer runs a stop sign in rural Texas - wouldn't you know, there's a county sheriff right there. The lawyer knows that he can squeeze out of this - he's a lawyer and he's from New York!
Deputy: License and regristration please.

Lawyer: What for? Why am I being stopped?

D: You didn't come to a complete stop at the stop sign.

L: I slowed down, nobody was coming, so I went on ahead.

D: You didn't come to a complete stop. License and regristration please.

L: If you can show me the legal difference between 'slow down and stop' versus 'stop', you give me the ticket.

D: OK sir, that's fair enough. Please exit your vehicle, sir.

The deputy takes out his nightstick and starts beating the humanity out of the lawyer and says: Do you want me to slow down or do you want me to stop?

Theoretically, since you can have a personal relationship with God and Jesus and if you call out to them they're supposed to be present in your life at all time, couldn't the same be done with Santa? If you summoned Santa the way christians summon God & Jesus, what kind of results would you get?

Have you ever thought about how strange it is that your faith practice essentially honors a Middle Eastern tribal deity (Jehovah, Yahweh)? In other words, that you're worshipping a foreign god?

Have you ever considered that obsession with sin, viewing the body with shame, and fear of death and dying are values completely alien to your pre-Christian ancestors? They valued courage and self-reliance, laughter and loyalty, strength and standing up for yourself... not humility, weeping, and turning the other cheek.

If we're always complaining about too-thin models, then why aren't magazines promoting lesser-known designers who do not use super tall, super thin models? Non-standard sized designers do exist and they need mainstream media attention.

One beautiful sunny Sunday morning a preacher woke up. He decided he was going to skip church. “I’ve been preaching 2 sermons every week for 15 years, I deserve 1 day of vacation” he reasoned. So he called the assistant pastor and told a white lie “I’m felling very sick, you’ll have to give the sermon this morning, its typed and on my desk, you’ll do fine.”

The preacher decided to spend his ill-gotten day off on the golf course, so he drove to a course 100 miles out of town, just to make sure nobody saw him.

God and Jesus were looking down, very disappointed with the preacher. Jesus asked God “Are you going to let him get away with this? Do something about it.”

Meanwhile, the preacher hit his first tee shot, it bounced off a rock and up onto the green only a foot from the pin. One easy putt later he recorded an eagle. On the next hole, a par 3, he made a hole in one.
