im 18, i understand u have to be 21 to get a motel down at the jersey shore, but cant i just get someone thats 21 to call in for me or do they have to be there to check me in?

If you owned a motel at the Jersey shore and, in the past some high strung teenagers rented rooms and totally trashed them because they had no adult supervision, would you just take a phone reservation and not card the person checking in to verify he/she was 21?
There....wasn't that easy?

Nope, nice try though. Once you get there they always ask you for your ID. Most places won't let you check in without one. Just find another motel that doesn't have a 21yr old policy. There are plenty out there.
