Well you can take some solace in the fact that these poor little buggers only get a couple of weeks in August. They will
never know the meaning of the lazy hazy days of summer. They run em in and out every 6 weeks or so. Like they really
think that we believe they will learn more, There is a paycheck for somebody, somewhere.

when you are young...you look forward to the next recess, the next school bell, time to be at home, time to play with friends etc...when you are an adult you tend to look forward to things that arent so close to you such as next payday or something like that. Point in case...if you sit in a chair and look at your watch over and over again in anticipation of the next hour, time will seem to move much slower. If you are busy and your mind is full of other thoughts the time spent is perceived to be much faster.

i remember the school holidays used to never end, it was so cool!
this year i've had an extra 5 weeks off due to GCSEs and the time is flying even faster!

At school you were on holiday so could do what you like
At work you have to work and do what you are told
So it seems longer
