I like the sloppy joe's answer. Easiest way is to brown the beef, add some minced onion and green onion, (some green and red bell pepper, if you like.) Add some garlic powder and generous globs of bottled barbeque sauce and ketchup.

I like to toast the inside of the hamburger buns on a hot griddle with a little bit of butter.

Whole process takes less than 10 minutes, depending on how fast you chop. Serve with fries or a can of baked or chili beans.

I also like what I call a "hamburger pie." Brown the meat with minced onion and then mix in a can of cream of mushroom soup. Fold in a can of drained, green beans. Serve this over a heaping bed of rice. I like to serve it with a colorful side dish such as carrots or corn.

Taco Casserole
This is the recipe I use for my family of 6.
2 lbs of Hamburger meat
small onion (optional)
2 large cans of Ranch style beans
2 can of Campbells cheddar cheese or nacho cheese sauce
1 large package of Tortilla chips (crushed)
2 cups of cheddar cheese/
Brown hamburger with the onion. drain and add the Ranch style beans. Preheat oven to 375. In a casserole dish (i use two) put in the crushed tortilla chips until the bottom is covered, spoon in hamburger/bean mixture, spoon some of the cheese soup over that , spread some of the cheddar cheese over that and repeat these layers until they are all gone. Place it in the oven until the cheese is melted. 25-30 minutes. Serve with spanish rice.
This is my families absolute favorite.

This is kinda like lasagna, only healthier. Just make sure your children are out of the house when you cook cabbage, because it stinks.

A delicious beef and cabbage casserole with tomatoes.
INGREDIENTS:
1 to 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 head cabbage, about 1 1/2 to 2 pounds
3/4 cup shredded mild Cheddar cheese

PREPARATION:
Directions for cabbage casserole with ground beef
In large skillet, cook ground beef, chopped onion, and chopped green pepper until meat is no longer pink; drain off fat. Stir in tomatoes, salt, and garlic powder.
Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
Cut cabbage into 6 wedges. Cook cabbage in a small amount of boiling salted water, covered, for about 10 minutes and drain well. Arrange cabbage wedges in a lightly buttered 9-inch square baking dish. Pour ground beef mixture over and around the cabbage wedges. Bake cabbage casserole, uncovered, at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes. Sprinkle cheese over cabbage casserole and bake about 5 minutes longer.

2] add one can cream of anything - mushroom, whatever
3] add 2 cups mixed beef bouillon or broth
4] stir together, and add
5] one Tbsp. dried onion

8] add one pound frozen mixed veggies [ canned won't taste good ]
9] heat to boiling, then simmer on low, covered, for 20 - 30 minutes.
10] serve over pasta, rice, mashed potatoes, biscuits.
