I saw a clip of a horror movie where someone has a razor blade and cuts out a horses eye, eye think this part of the film was a dream in black and white, I'd say maybe a 70/80s film, not sure. Can you help.

i found out what it was, Un Chien Andalou and it was made in 1929. (only a couple of years out.lol) By the way its a womans eye he cuts out with a razor not a horse.

Does sound like Un Chien Andelou.
I saw this at the Dali exhibit at Tate Modern recently.
It cracked me up! I'd class it as a comedy rather than a horror!

that movie must be huuuuuuuuuuuuuummm sceary. i cant just imagine it. i have not come accross horror movies in black and white. may it is very old. i love watching horro movies especially at night but i watch the recent ones such as house of wax , venum, the ring, skeleton key and so on. i think u should go to a movies website to kno more about 70/80s horror movies.
